Today on Cancer Survivor Day, we’re honoring the strength, resilience, and determination of cancer survivors everywhere. 💙
As we prepare for the Nashville Half Marathon & 5K, we want to share Curt’s story, a reminder that every step we take can help make a difference.
In late 2023, Curt was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and immediately began an intense journey of chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant, and months of treatment away from home. Through it all, Curt and his wife Donna found support through the - giving them a place to stay during treatment. After months of fighting, Curt celebrated a successful transplant and rang the Bell of Hope surrounded by family.
Behind every diagnosis is a person, a family, and a community. That’s why we’re proud to partner with the American Cancer Society through their DetermiNation program, helping improve the lives of people facing cancer.
Thank you for being part of a race that’s about more than crossing a finish line. Every mile helps support a cause bigger than ourselves. 💙🏃♀️🏃♂️
