As most of you guys know, Gracie Barra Nashville will now be Artista Jiu-Jitsu. This name change comes with a change of ownership as we (Felix and Val) have now purchased the school from the previous owners. We will be emailing more information from our new email. Also, classes will resume tomorrow Thursday 2/2/17. We decided to fix up the gym a little bit as new owners, and hope you guys like the changes!!

Hello everyone,

We will be closing Monday Jan 30. Our new mats will be arriving in the morning, we will be installing along with finishing up the painting. We apologize for the short notice and inconvenience as we were not aware exactly when mats would be coming in. We appreciate everyone understanding and hope to see you guys training on the new mats soon!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Christmas team dinner last night!
Also we will be having open mat today at 5pm. Open mat on Saturday AND Sunday at 11 am. HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!

Our friend and Renzo Gracie black belt Chris will be doing a seminar here Saturday January 28th. He will also be training with us the week before so if you want to set up privates with him let us know. Chris is a great instructor and I would definitely recommend it. Make sure you guys mark your calendars and don't miss this event!

Very proud of our team who competed this weekend! We took 5 kids and brought back 3 gold medals 3 silvers and a bronze medal. Our adults took home 4 gold medals 2 silvers and a bronze. Our competition team is growing and I'm very excited for our future!

Wednesday 5-6pm: Game Day Class for kids ALL AGES (little champs 1 and 2)
6-7pm Adult open mat

Thursday (thanksgiving day): Open Mat 11-12pm All Academies Welcome!

Hello GB family,
We will not be having classes this Wednesday or Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday. However we will host a game day class on Wednesday for both our little champs 1 and little champs 2 kids from 5-6pm followed by an adult open mat from 6-7pm. On Thursday (thanksgiving day) we will host an open mat from 11am-12pm. All classes back to regular schedule Friday.

We will not have study hall this Friday afternoon 11/18 or open mat this Sunday 11/20 due to the NY open. Saturday classes are as scheduled. (Adult class will be open mat).
