Alright, long time no updates..

I've been incredibly busy with work and home life. I'm really happy about that. Things are great.

I haven't had much time at all to put in to sternum straps and such. I've had so little time that I think I've reached a point that customers are actually pi**ed off at me for taking so long or not being very available.

I started doing this to have fun. It was a way to be creative and productive in my free time. It was never meant to make any real money and never meant to be stressful.

As I get busier and people get more upset with the delays, I think more and more about shutting things down. I still have a ton of stock webbing and buckles and everything else, so I'm not quite stopping yet. But my willingness to bulk order more supplies is going to really take a hit as things move forward.

I wanted to check in and give a status update.

You guys are keeping me incredibly busy. Which, first off, I very much appreciate, so thank you. But I’m having a very hard time finding free time to get everything accomplished and I am falling very far behind in all things.

There’s been a very recent surge in hip belt orders. I’m trying hard to get through the back log. In the past I’ve gotten a hip belt done maybe once every week or two because they take so much time and effort. Over the past two months I think I’ve gotten orders for about 20 belts and they seem to be accelerating. Thank you for your patience with me as I try my best.

Sternum straps have also gotten a bit out of hand. I’m getting a lot of requests for a lot of straps with a lot of custom options like different paint colors and different webbing colors. As you can imagine, this slows things down also.

Finally, I’m about to experience a shortage of certain hardware, especially WeTool hardware for sternum straps and docks. One of my sources is out of stock and the other currently isn’t shipping to the US due to the tariff situation.

I am going on a much needed vacation! I won’t be back until around the 4th of July.

Some mildly unfortunate news moving forward.

Fidlocks are currently on back order, and the price of them will be increasing when they come back in stock, I assume due to tariffs. I haven’t looked at it yet but I expect Cobra prices to increase as well, as i get them from Canada.

As such, I expect to be out of Fidlock buckles for a couple of months potentially, and when I do get them back in stock my prices will be increasing accordingly.

In order to minimize the impact of price increases on you I will be placing a larger bulk order — by far the biggest investment of any materials I’ve made yet. Of course this also comes with risk to me of having materials that possibly won’t sell.

I thank you all for the business you’ve given me which has allowed me to take this risk. Hopefully this won’t be much more than a minor hiccup.

If/when I am short on materials, look in to Thermal Lift’s offerings.

All I really wanted was a creative outlet and to make things that people were happy with.
