SLAM NASHVILLE’s March for Maternal Mental Health:
📍 Shelby Bottoms Nature Center
🗓️ May 15, 9:30-10:30am
This year marks our 7th Annual March for Maternal Mental Health and SLAM’s Maternal Mental Health Week.
From May 4–10, we’ll come together as a community to share resources, stories, and real, raw experiences. Our mission is simple but powerful: to remind every mom she is not alone, that her story matters, and that she matters. Together, we’re breaking the silence, lifting the stigma, and replacing shame with support.
And then… we carry the weight.
Throughout the month of May, moms, spouses, friends, and families across the U.S. and Europe—both inside and outside of SLAM—will take part in our march. Participants physically carry weight—whether it’s a backpack, a ruck, or a baby in a carrier—to symbolize the invisible load so many mothers bear every single day.
You can march with your SLAM, gather your own crew, or take this on solo. However you show up... you belong here.
As we move together, we’ll also be raising awareness, sharing stories, and supporting Blue Dot Project, continuing our commitment to making maternal mental health a conversation that can’t be ignored.
At the same time, our Maternal Mental Health Week will come to life on SLAM Nation’s social media... highlighting education, resources, organizations, and the voices of women who are bravely sharing their journeys.
Because the truth is, this touches almost everyone. And as an organization built by moms, for moms, this matters deeply to us.
We’re honored to walk alongside you.
If you feel called to share your story and help another mom feel seen, you can submit it here:
