When you ask John Whidden to describe his business, he likes to say it's a "Hobby gone awry". It started small with one Craftsman Manual Lathe and a love for shooting, combined with a curious mind. He would machine any round piece of metal he could get his hands on, and finally got the courage to do his own barrel, and then eventually for his friends. Suddenly, this seemed like a nice little side business. His first proprietary product was the Pointing Die System. And that is something we still sell to this day. As time has gone by, we have evolved and expanded to what we are today. It is truly due to our customers. We would like to say thank you for your support over the past 20 years. If it wasn't for you, John wouldn't have made it off the farm and into the machine shop.

"Just wanted to drop in and say hello and well done on the Criterion barrel for the CZ457. I finally got out to shoot it and this is the first 10shots, cold bore at 50yds with SK Rifle Match. Temp was 42F. Pretty good group for a new 22LR barrel. Headspace was dead on. I'm happy with my purchase. It should be even better from this point forward." -Goran
