✨That's right! Rita is returning to Global, this time to kick off a full day of workshops from the Afro Latin Diaspora.

✨Join Rita as she infuses rhythms, music, movement, and aesthetics from different cultures as a way to stay healthy, fit, and culturally aware.

✨So you think you know Samba? Wait until you dance with Quenia Ribeiro! She is a true Samba Queen!

✨Her Roots of Samba workshop will introduce you to many types of Samba hailing from Rio de Janeiro and Bahia.

✨You will get a workout (a fun one), you will enjoy some great rhythms provided by Everton Isidoro, and you will expand your knowledge and your joy!

🎊🕯OUR ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS!🕯🎊Join us DECEMBER 14!! Global Education Center will be presenting its annual Festival of Lights program on December 14 at 7:00 pm at Father Ryan High School, 700 Norwood Drive. This will be the 23rd year of this popular festival, featuring the commonalities of Kwanzaa, Chanukah, Advent, Las Posadas, Divali and Ramadan through the kindling of lights and dance performances. Performers this year include:
Shab-e Yalda - Travis Jarrell
Divali - Kala Nivedanam led by Monica Cooley
Chanukah - Nashville International Folk Dancers
Christmas/Advent - Global's Youth Latin Dance Students led by Alejandro Rivera

DANCE and FITNESS THANK YOU FROM TIRRA! First of all, thank you to my awesome crew of Zumba Queens in Murfreesboro! You all rock my world! We had a great week of classes! Secondly, thank you to the awesome Zumba and African Dance Crews of the Global Education Center! We had AMAZING classes today! You all rock my world! I look forward to dancing and sweating with you all next week! because you are amazing!
