🏆 Athlete of the Week!- Micah M!

Micah sustained a spinal cord injury at C4 vertebrae in September of 2020 while playing football in High School. Micah has been apart of the NRC family since February 2025 and often works out with us 2-3 times a week. Since joining NRC, Micah states. “My overall goals have been building strength and endurance. NRC has helped by providing specific hands on training that continues to improve my strength and endurance.”

🏆 Athlete of the Week!- Mary!
Mary has been part of the NRC family for the past year, working out with us usually twice a week.

January 21st, 2025, Mary sustained a spinal cord injury while sledding. Since joining NRC, our coaches and her have been working on her balance and opening up her chest, as she was unable to open her chest at all before. A year later, the coaches say "Her balance is perfect and she even does squats with some torso help. Her overall strength has improved. Her core and torso balance is next level and her general endurance has drastically improved."

🏆 Introducing our new series: Athlete of the Week!
We're kicking things off with Bailey F.! Bailey has been part of the NRC family since June 2025, showing up week after week without fail.

In May 2020, Bailey sustained a T8 spinal cord injury. Since joining NRC, the progress has been remarkable. In Bailey's own words:

"I have gained some core strength and better control of my balance. I have access to equipment, stimulation devices, and coaches I would not otherwise have without NRC. My confidence has also grown substantially."

We're so proud of the hard work Bailey puts in every single week. 💪
