Thank you very much for all the kids and parents for participating and making NECL Youth Cricket Camp a highly successful event. Our main motivation was to teach basic skills (i.e. batting, bowling, fielding & catching) of the cricket and we achieved that. We spent 30 minutes on each drill, over 2 hours and taught important facets of those skills, which are normally taught over 6/8 weeks sessions. We hope your kids enjoyed it as much as we did teaching it. Please encourage your kids to practice these skills at home. We will get in touch again next spring.
Thank you Mahesh Kelkar & Paresh Joshi for spearheading and organizing this phenomenal effort.
Thank you to all coaches Mahesh Kelkar, Paresh Joshi, Prasad Talwalkar, Vijay Patil, Kedar Gokhale & Vrushi Sathish. Without their effort, it would have been nearly impossible.
Thank you Sheetal Kelkar (Mrs India New England & Ekal Volunteer), Ranjani Saigal (National Executive Director of Ekal Vidyalaya) and Anil Saigal (IAGB President & Ekal Advisor), for being our guests of honor. With this camp, we have raised awareness and money that will benefit kids, just like you, to get access to basic education. You can make a difference too, by joining Ekal in their endeavor; please contact Parveen Minocha.
