Hot off the press! Bluefin Tuna regs just published and they are looking good.! 💪🏻 After last year’s closure these regs are very welcomed. Thanks to NOAA HMS and our ICCAT delegation for getting us some more fish and applying rules that make sense.!! Can’t wait to get out there.!

Even though Greg L couldn’t make the trip he sent his A Team who made short work of a limit of delicious Striped Bass. Absolutely massive numbers of Striped Bass 22 inches to 42 inches. Most on light tackle today. The bottom fishing was slower today, but we did get a couple cod that were quickly cataloged for a research project and safely released.

Bob O and family….. who have fished with us over 3 generations… crushed the Striped Bass this morning. Most were too big, but they got 2 Fish4dinner.!! The. bass was a little messed up after yesterday’s storm, but they got 8 for dinner and a bunch of small ones. Still some mackerel in the mix. Fun Day.!

Tony L and family have been fishing with us across 3 generations. Today they got into the spring CBass with a full limit of monsters up to 21 inches. A lone Tog went in the bucket and we tagged a fluke for RIDEM. A couple dozen Mackerel too. Lots of bait, warning water, and things are really popping now! The season is underway! 🎣

We snuck out for a few hours today to look around for some CBass with the season now open… we FOUND THEM. It’s been a minute since I fished spring CBass, but it was good to see they are still where we left them years ago. Double headers of 20 inch fish, biggest 22 inches. Lots of fish over 16 inches.
