NBX Ambassador Chris Anthony took the Frankenbike up Ascutney this past Saturday for the Hill Climb race. 15.75 pounds with the computer, half a bottle of water, and a snack. That’s it. That’s the rig.

The days are getting shorter. The fun isn’t stopping though.

Great group, great route, great hang back at the shop afterwards. That’s what Thursday nights are all about.

And as the sun keeps setting earlier, we’re not slowing down. Our new demo light program is here to keep the ride going deeper into the season. Six demo sets available, first come first serve — show up, register, and ride with lights on us.

Riding in the dark isn’t for everyone. But if you’re up for it, it’s one of the best ways to keep getting outside, stay on the bike, and carry your fitness through the fall and beyond. Lights aren’t just about being seen — they let you see and keep rolling when the sun clocks out early.

This is why we do it.

Jay showed up to his first NBX group ride not knowing anyone, not knowing the roads, and not sure what to expect. By the end of the night he was riding southern RI with new friends and eating at the cookout like he’d been coming for years.

That’s the whole point. Show up. We’ll take it from there.
