Yoga at Play šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø We bring playfulness into yoga with aerial movement, flow, and mindfulnessšŸ¦‹Fly With Us ✨Rediscover your inner child & transform your life

10/13/2026

We spend our days encouraging kids to play. This time, it was our turn ā¤ļø

This video was created with AI, and the voices aren’t ours. We had fun imagining ourselves as a rap duo for a moment.

There’s something freeing about playing pretend. Trying on a different version of yourself. Getting a little silly and letting your imagination take the lead, without needing to be good at it.

Kids turn into astronauts, dragons, and superheroes without a second thought. Surely Ofrit and Doug can be rappers for ten seconds.

A little music, a little make-believe, and a whole lot of love for everything

From us to you,
Ofrit Gal & Douglas McNish

Yes, this is AI, and those aren’t Ofrit’s or Doug’s real voices!

We couldn’t resist joining the viral rap trend and making our own Yoga at Play song—a playful way to share our love for kids and everything this community means to us.

The laughter. The connection. Watching a child find their confidence and let themselves shine. That’s what fills our hearts every day.

So here’s a little rhythm, a little silliness, and a whole lot of love.

Enjoy—from us to you.

With love,
Ofrit Gal & Doug McNish

the relationship practice that changed everything for us šŸ‘‡šŸ¼

We didn’t have a bad marriage.

We were best friends. We were happy.

But I learned something that changed the way I look at relationships:

you don’t know what you don’t know.

So instead of assuming ā€œthis is good enough,ā€ we started living more intentionally.

1. Ask better questions.
How can we feel more connected?
How can we have more fun?
How can we support each other better?
2. Stay curious.
Be willing to see beyond what you already know. Sometimes you need to see another way of living before you realize more is possible for you too.
3. Choose each other on purpose.
Breakfast together. Walks. Working out. Little check-ins. Time without distractions.
4. Add more play.
Adventure. Laughter. Trying new things together. Not waiting for a vacation to feel alive.
5. Keep growing.
Not because something is broken.
Because good can still become better.

And one more thing I’ve learned:

Surround yourself with people who expand your idea of what’s possible.

Sometimes seeing someone else live with more connection, more joy, and more intention is what makes you realize there may be more available for you too.

For me, that’s what living intentionally means:

Keep asking. Keep noticing. Keep choosing.

Because sometimes the life you want isn’t somewhere else.

It’s hidden inside the life you already have.

You just don’t know what you don’t know. ā¤ļø

Follow Yoga At Play if you’re curious about what else might be possible — in your life, your work, and the way you show up.

**THIS IS NOT A NORMAL BIRTHDAY PARTY.**

Forget the same-old birthday party.

At **Yoga@Play**, kids climb into the hammocks, swing, spin, laugh, and experience the kind of party they’ll still be talking about weeks later.

It’s movement.
It’s adventure.
It’s pure birthday magic.

And for a little while, the whole studio feels like it belongs to them and their friends.

**Give them a birthday that feels anything but ordinary.**

Birthday parties are now booking at our aerial yoga studio.

**Come fly with us.**

That’s what I thought.

I was always very shy.

Leadership didn’t even feel like something that belonged to me.

Who was I to lead anyone?

I didn’t have some huge moment where I suddenly became confident.

I just kept saying little yeses.

If you want to build confidence, say yes.
If you want to discover what you’re capable of, say yes.
If you want to grow into a leader before you feel like one, say yes.
If you want to create something bigger than yourself, say yes.

One yes. Then another. Then another.

And somewhere along the way, I realized…

I actually am a leader.

Not because I stopped being shy.
Not because I have it all figured out.

I’m still growing. Still learning. Still saying yes.

One little yes at a time, I’m becoming more of the leader I never thought I could be.

Maybe being shy was never the opposite of leadership.

Maybe I just had the wrong picture of what a leader looks like. ā¤ļø

Okay… I have to ask. šŸ˜‚

I’m walking around with THIS black eye, and now I keep wondering what goes through people’s minds when they first see me.

We opened our Shy to Shine season at our studio yesterday, and I found myself immediately explaining it to the parents and kids.

And this week I’m also going into pre-schools, seeing children, teachers, and directors…

so now I have this ridiculous little dilemma:

Do I explain the black eye to everyone I meet… or just let them wonder? šŸ˜‚

Because let’s be honest — when someone walks into a room with a black eye, your brain creates a story.

So before anyone creates a really dramatic one…

My sweet husband is innocent.

This man won’t even have a pillow fight with me. šŸ˜‚

Volleyball (catch-ball) did it.

I was having the BEST time with a group of women, feeling more alive than I have in a long time… and apparently I got a little too enthusiastic.

So tell me:

A. Explain it immediately
B. Let them wonder

I used to wait.

Wait until I felt ready.
Wait until I looked better.
Wait until I thought I could do it ā€œright.ā€

Yesterday I got hit in the face playing volleyball # and ended up with a little black eye.

My first thought was basically:
Well, I’ll film when this is gone. PersonalGrowth

And then I caught myself.

Because this is exactly what I’m trying to unlearn.

There is always going to be something.
The timing.
The way I look.
The fear of being judged.
The fear of looking silly.

So today I’m making a different choice.

Not because I suddenly feel fearless.

But because I’m willing to be seen before everything feels perfect.

Black eye and all. ā¤ļø P.S. Before anyone asks… my husband is innocent. šŸ˜‚
Volleyball really did this.

ā€œWe’re protecting space for people to be people.ā€

A phone can connect us to the whole world — and still pull us away from the person sitting right beside us. Research has found that when phones are present, people socialize less and often enjoy the interaction less. We are human beings. We need eye contact, conversation, laughter, emotion, and real connection.

That’s why we’re creating a **phone-free sacred space** at Yoga at Play + Shy to Shine. šŸ’œ We invite our parents and caregivers to join us: put the phone away, choose a card from the basket, start a conversation, and let your child see what real human connection looks like. **Let’s look up. Let’s talk. Let’s belong.**
