Hey everyone! 🛠️ If you're planning on doing some trailer or RV maintenance soon, specifically tackling your electric brake shoes and linings, we highly recommend watching this quick guide from Lippert.

We wanted to share a few handy tips from the video that will save you a ton of headache if you plan on doing this yourself:

📸 Snap a "before" picture: Always take a quick picture of the backing plate before you start removing components. It's the easiest way to remember exactly where everything goes when you're putting it back together!

🔧 Get the right tool: Using a dedicated brake tool makes a world of difference. You can use the rounded edge for pulling springs off, the flat section on the handle to guide them back on, and the plier portion to get enough leverage to stretch the springs over their posts.

⚙️ Reassembly order matters: When putting it all back together, it's much easier to attach that lowermost spring before you reinstall the brake adjustment screw.
