Race day recap!

Lane
Hotlaps 7th quick
Heat p3 to P1
Feature p1

Brooks
Hotlaps 2nd quick
Heat p4 to P2
Feature p3 to p1

Lane had rough hot lap session but he turned it around and got aggressive in his heat. In the feature after a few rough starts they were able to get the race started and he lead every lap.

Brooks finally got serious and put together a great night. In the heat it was all him and his buddy Kash out front, he needs to work on setting up passes a little better but overall Kash knew he was there. In the feature he was a little more patient and ran second for a few laps before he took the opportunity to make a clean pass and never looked back winning the race by almost half a lap.

This is the first time both boys have ever both won in the same night and was a pretty awesome race for us.

Lane and Brooks would like to thank everyone that helps them weekly and along the way since they're so well media trained and only a couple get thanked in victory lane.

Race Day Recap for the Brothers

Brooks: 13 Junior Sprints
⏰ 3rd quick overall
🔥 Heat Race: p4 to p3
🏁 Feature: p5 to p3.
Another overall solid night for Brooks in the Outlaw Smokehouse #49 car.

Lane: 19 Restricted Cars
⏰ 7th quick overall
🔥 Heat Race: p8 to p2
🏁 Feature: p2 to p1.
Lane is finally finding consistency and showing great progress behind the Cale Cannon Racing #3 car.

🚨 Raceday Recap 🚨
The brothers showed up last night and both had extremely solid performances.

Brooks: (11 Juniors checked in)
🔥 Heat Race: p3 to p1. Took his first checkered flag of the season.
🏁 Feature: He started from the pole and lead the first 13 laps of the feature until he read a lap car wrong and let his buddy Kash sweep through for the win! Congrats to Kash on an awesome night!

Lane: (17 Restricted checked in)
🔥 Heat Race: p1 to p2. He was a little throttle happy on the start and it’s something to work on.
🏁 Feature: p6 to p3. After going over video and seeing he was missing all of his marks from the heat, Lane finally started putting his lines together and came home with a solid podium finish.

The nerves of the first race night for Lane have now settled with the dust of the track from last night. 13 Restricted cars checked in last night.

⏰ hot laps: He was 2nd quick in his group and 4th quick overall.
🔥 heat race: He started the pole and in a moment of nerves, let the outside get the jump on him. He went on for a solid 2nd place finish.
🏁 feature: He started 4th and had a good run until he put the car up over the cushion and just lost his composure from there. His nerves settled in for a 6th place finish in his first race.

Overall he had speed, he had moments, he had a few gosh darn it kid times too. So much learning packed into a few short laps. He still has so much room to grow and we’re excited for the chase this season.

As always, thank you to Cale Cannon Racing for being the best coach as Lane sits behind your wheel this season. We could not do this without you.

🏁 IT’S RACE DAY🏁

We’re rolling into US 24 Speedway today. Lane will be behind the wheel of the Cale Cannon Racing #3 and Brooks will be strapping into his Junior Sprint that is proudly backed by Outlaw Smokehouse.

Lane has spoken and has made his decision on the season. We thought we had a plan for the 2026 season but that all quickly changed this week.
After two days of practice, Lane has confidently decided to park the Junior and to strictly focus on the restricted this season.
It’s the season for breaking all of the bad habits he learned leading up to this point and soaking all of the knowledge in he can from who he believes is the best of the best.
He’s ready for the best season yet behind the #3 and having Cale in his corner, coaching him every step of the way.
