One day, you’re the little kid looking up at the race cars.

And then, somehow, you’re the kid standing beside one, with an even smaller driver looking up at you.

It happens so quietly.

Between the long nights at the track, the dirty race suits, the wins, and the hard lessons, our kids are becoming someone else’s inspiration.

They might not realize it yet. They’re just doing what they love.

But somewhere in the pits, there’s a little one watching. Watching how they climb into the car. Watching how they race. Watching how they smile, even when the night doesn’t go their way.

And maybe, just maybe, that little one is dreaming about the day it’s their turn.

That’s the beautiful thing about racing. The dreams don’t stop at the checkered flag. They get passed down, one driver to the next.

So take the picture. Stop and talk to the little kids. Let them sit in the car. Tell them to keep dreaming.

Because you never know who’s looking at you and thinking, “I want to be just like them someday.” ❤️🤍💙

Even on the hard days, you’re living a dream most kids could only imagine.

We’ve watched a lot of sunsets from the pits.

Usually while Dad is making one more adjustment and Mom is telling us to look at the sky.

Sometimes we barely look up. We’re watching the lineup, finding our gloves, thinking about the race.

But Mom takes the picture anyway.

And looking at it now, we’re glad she does.

Because right there, underneath that sky, is our family spending another evening together. Dad beside the cars. Mom behind the camera. Both of us getting to do something we love, with them there to share it.

Someday, we might need these pictures to remember which car we drove or what track we were at.

We hope they also bring back how it felt.

The excitement before we buckled in. Dad’s voice. Mom’s smile. Being kids with another race ahead of us and everyone we needed close by.

We hope we get a whole lot more sunsets at the track together. 🧡🏁

If you ask us what we’re excited about for Tulsa, we’ll probably say racing.

And we mean it.

We think about pulling onto that track. Hearing our names. Getting our chance against kids who have been working toward the same thing we have.

And yeah… we think about bringing home a Golden Driller. 🏆

But we’re also thinking about who we’ll see when we get there.

The friends who live too far away to come over.
The ones we have to wait for another race to see.
The kids we can race hard against and then spend the rest of the night laughing with.

For a few days, we all get to be in the same place.

That’s a pretty big deal when some of your favorite people live a whole lot of miles away.

We know there’s a lot that has to happen before we get there, too.

We see Dad still working on the cars when it’s getting late. We see Mom making sure we have everything. We see the people who stop what they’re doing to help us figure something out.

We probably don’t say thank you enough.

But when we roll onto that track, we’re taking a little piece of everybody who helped us get there.

We want to make them proud.

And when we come off, we’ll look for them. To celebrate a good race. To talk through a tough one. Sometimes just to get a hug before we’re ready to talk at all.

We don’t know how Tulsa will go.

We hope we’ll be fast. We hope all the work shows. We hope we get to have one of those moments we’ll talk about the whole way home.

But we already know we’ll get a few days with our family, our friends, and a building full of people who love the same thing we do.

Someday, we’ll be the older guys looking at the little kids in their race suits.

Right now, we’re still those kids.

And we’re really glad we get to spend this part of growing up together.

See you in Tulsa. ❤️🏁
