We, our group of like minded individuals have been trying to reopen your beloved Ski Valley for the past two years. We have run into many hurdles over this time but, we WILL persevere! One of the largest hurdles has been dealing with is all the negativity and treats of legal action by the unfounded accusations of Mr. Carl Welte. Well as it turns out Mr. Welte has gone to jail!!! On September 23, 2015 Mr. Welte plead out of 3 different counts, assault violation, violation of a protective order, trying to sway a witness to have assault charges dropped, but was found GUILTY of the last charge of Bail Jumping, and is currently serving his month and a half sentence. We dearly want to reopen Ski Valley however the amount of destruction caused by this one man has been overwhelming. Not only to the physical area itself but to the process of working toward the reopening of the area. Please in the future keep this in mind over the next year as we WILL continue to move forward (hopefully without further distractions) and strive to bring back to the Naples area one of your true jewels of your local area.

Well now that things are coming along I need to start looking into certain positions that are key to the success of our new area. I am currently in search of a Dir. of the new Ski School, and Dir. of Ski Patrol. Our meeting with the South Bristol Board on Monday went VERY WELL! We have just a few short questions to finalize and then onward!!! I want to take this time to thank any of you that attended the meeting on Monday. Your continued support of Ski Valley is VERY important not only to us but to the officials that will give us the go ahead. We will be back up on the Boards schedule for the March meeting and I would like to see even more of you t this meeting? As this begins to take form I want to show that the people of the local area are behind this very special project. See you in March, watch here for date and time. We WILL get Ski Valley OPEN for all of your families to enjoy just as in years past.

S. Bristol Town Hall Monday Feb. 9th @ 7:00pm We at Ski Valley NEED your support!!! Please come out and show these people of the Board that there truely IS local support for this community project. Who knows logic may prevail to show we are simply trying to provide a NEED in the Naples area.

Well it looks like we are on the agenda for the Feb 9th South Bristol meeting. I do seriously hope any or all of you will show up. We have been doing our due diligence getting all of the necessary info for the board. Now we want to show these people on the board that you are behind this project...there are still people that don't understand just how special this place can and will be!! Let's show them and for that matter everyone that the special place called Ski Valley can live again. Hope to see all of you on Feb. 9th

Just keeping everyone updated, we have received our orders from Ogasaka Ski USA (50pr. boots, skiis, bndgs, poles),for what will be the start of our rental fleet. Reliable Racing has come thru for us with what will be a complete safety, timing, system. Thank you so much to Sean Campbell of Ogasaka ski USA and Jeff Jacobs from Reliable Racing, with everyone's help we have no boundaries as to what we can accomplish
Oh and may I not forget, the replacement cable for the T-bar has been ordered and will be installed next summer after some necessary m/x .
Just keeping you all aware, this IS going to happen. :)

What have we become? It seems now it is up to the local regulators to decide for us (as we obviously can't do this for ourselves) what is good, fun and traditional! After a local New Years Eve celebration with out fireworks, even though it has been a tried and true family tradition put on by professionals and our friends at Bristol the resort was unable to continue this family tradition due to the lack of a permit that needed to be issued by our local regulators. Just one more good thing for the public that is being legislated out of existence!!!
This year 2015, I promise all of you to work even harder and more diligently in getting this obvious need for the people of Naples open for use. Just think, more things to do, more jobs for locals and who knows maybe (if we are lucky!) a better local economy for all of us to enjoy. Please get behind this worth while project and help us get SKI VALLEY open for public use in 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear friends of Ski Valley, we have had our challenges this year. Sometimes it seems we have created a nation that prevents us doing what our fathers found to be so easy and logical. However I believe that "Good" will prevail! I can't thank any of you enough for all the kind and encouraging words and deeds over this past year. I wish you and your families well and to have a blessed new year as you have been our strength and will always be. Thank you people of SKI VALLEY you are very special and deserve the very best!!

I am working very hard to hopefully provide the people of the Naples area their beloved SKI VALLEY for the 2015-16 Ski season. If anyone out there wants to be part of the solution not the problem please let me know. I want this to be something we all can be very proud of!!!!
