🏊‍♀️ PARENT TIP! 🏊‍♂️

Once your child has learned to swim, it is important to NEVER put a swim floaty or puddle jumper on your kid again. Putting a floaty on your child can cause them to take steps back in their swimming skills.

Don’t let those hard-earned swimming skills get rusty! 💦 Encourage your child to keep practicing so they can continue developing strength, confidence, and independence in the water.

⚠️ Important: This post is NOT referring to U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets. Life jackets and swim floaties are not the same thing. Children should always wear an appropriate life jacket when boating or participating in activities where one is required—even if they know how to swim.

2. Baby Steps - Encourage your child to take small steps when learning a new skill, rather than trying to do it all at once.
