If you are not a NAPLES VELO MEMBER or if your membership has lapsed, please renew today.

Your membership helps make it possible for us to continue organizing bike rides every single day of the calendar year. It also helps protect you. Naples Velo’s insurance coverage applies during sanctioned club rides, providing an added layer of security should an accident or incident occur while participating in an official ride.

Even if you only ride with us once a week, that’s over 50 organized rides each year supported by Naples Velo volunteers, leadership, sponsors, and club resources. Your membership helps make all of that possible.

Velo Members:

Ranger, Mike Weston in Picayune Strand will be installing Dan Courneene's Ironheart Memorial sign this Thursday morning @ 9am.

We are doing a gravel ride to meet up with the ranger for the installation. All are invited. 7:30am roll out.

The ride is on the ENV TeamReach group (True Green Pace). Members of that TeamReach group should hit the calendar to let us know if they will be joining us. The group code is "34114".

There was no fee from Ranger Mike Weston for doing all of this but we suggest you make a $5, $10, $20 or more donation.

Here are the instructions for donations.
1. Visit www.floridastateforests.org and click on the donate tab.
2. In the donate tab, click to donate to a state forest and select Picayune Strand State Forest. Add a note: In memory of Dan "Ironheart" Courneene. The funding goes into our Picayune Strand State Forest general fund.

Save the Date: May 20 at 6pm, Cambier Park

Join us for the National Ride of Silence to honor people who have been injured or killed while biking. This event raises awareness of the importance of bicycle safety, and to ask that everyone share the road safely.

There is no fee to participate. Please encourage your friends and family and join us. The bike ride is a slow, hour-long ride in silence downtown. Helmets are required.

If you have a bright yellow NPC shirt, please wear it. If you don’t have one, please email your size to [email protected], and they will be available for a donation.
