I used to think loving my workouts meant I’d finally healed my relationship with my body. I was wrong. . .
I had just learned to enjoy the war.
The relationship I have with my body now is different, not because I love the workout more, but because I can skip it without bargaining for it. Stop in the middle when my body says enough. Rest for three days and not panic.
That is what truly healing my relationship with my body has looked like.
