For this week we are going to run holiday hours on Thursday and Friday only! So we will be CLOSED on Thanksgiving and have open gym only on Friday from 8am-12pm.

With being closed and having abbreviated hours on Friday, all members will still have full 24/7 access utilizing our door code. We sent out an email on how to operate this and if you need that email/video please send us a message and we will gladly get you all set up!

Please let us know if you have any questions!

If you are unable to make it to the gym we hope you all have a wonderful and restful Thanksgiving holiday!

This November we have some exciting additions to Redline!

Firstly, we are going to be adding 24/7 facility access for all members! This has been something that we have been trying to implement for a while now and we finally have it all sorted out to provide our members with the freedom to come to the gym at their leisure!

Secondly, we are going to be adding a new class to our schedule! A 5:30PM class will be included on Tuesday's and Thursday's. So if you are someone who works later in the day and would like to still join in a coach led class, this is the time for you!
This does not change normal open gym hours either! You are still able to utilize the open gym during this time

We are very excited for these additions and if this peaks your interest please feel free to reach out to get started!

Join us Monday 5/29 for our annual Memorial Day Murph!

Murph is a “hero workout” that is done to honor the memories of those who served in the armed forces and paid the ultimate sacrifice.

“Murph” honors the life of Lieutenant Michael Murphy from Patchogue, NY, who died serving in Afghanistan in 2005.

Murph is done for time and consists of:
1 mile run
100 pull-ups
200 push-ups
300 squats
1 mile run
*wearing a 20/14 # weighted vest or body armor
**it is not required to wear the weighted vest

We will have scaling options for everyone as well as partner/team options if you choose that route!

All are welcome and we encourage you to bring friends and family to join in a great workout and a great cause on a special day
*there will be no drop in charges on Memorial Day

We will also be providing coffee and donuts to fuel your workout or to just come and socialize and cheer on everyone completing the workout!

Redline will be operating under holiday/weekend hours for Monday 5/29. So we will be open from 8am-12pm for open gym. So if you cannot make is to the 8:30 group you can still get your workout in for the day anytime during those hours!

Can’t wait to see you all and have some fun honoring a true hero!

Excited to partner with for an awesome fundraiser!
They work with the National Wheelchair Basketball Association and collect sneaker donations for their program!
If you have any new or gently used sneakers and want to provide to these awesome athletes stop by Redline and drop them in the donation box we have at the door!

We are excited to offer a new sauna service for our members and drop ins!

Sauna or heat exposure (hot tub) can be incredible for recovery from training and can boost your overall health wellness when done correctly!

Getting in the sauna and “sweating it out” has a ton of benefits to your body. It is stress relieving and relaxing, pushing your body in the parasympathetic state where you are recovering and getting better in the process!

Sauna exposure is actually a form of cardio! It has several health benefits, which include reduction in the risk of high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, stroke, and neurocognitive diseases. It also plays a role in improving your heart health!

Saunas increase circulation, which brings more oxygen-rich blood to your depleted muscles and can help improve your muscle recovery after tough workouts!

A good rule of thumb is to spend 20 minutes or less in a sauna. If you are new to the sauna, try spending five or 10 minutes inside during your first few visits to build up your heat tolerance.

All that sweating will dehydrate you, so make a point to drink plenty of water after your sauna session. You’ll also want to replenish your electrolytes.

Come in and give heat exposure a try and see the benefits for yourself!

What is the Open?!
The Open is an annual, inclusive, FUN, international competition that officially kicks off the CrossFit Games season. It’s a three-week international competition where anyone, regardless of fitness level or ability, can compete in the biggest fitness competition.

If you are doing the Open and would like to complete the workouts at Redline we would love to have you!! We have 2 registered judges who will have knowledge on the workouts and we will be setting up the floor for workout areas once the workouts are released.

Redline is NOT an official CrossFit Affiliate. So we cannot validate scores. So if you plan on completing the workouts and submitting them to the leaderboard you will need to video your performance. This is very important if you plan on competing and moving on through the Games season!

The Open is a great way to test your fitness and have some fun competing! Good luck to everyone competing and we hope to see you attack these workouts at Redline!

Macro-nutrients are largely what our food consists of. There are 3 main "macros": Protein, Carbohydrates, Fats. These are the main suppliers of nutrients for your body. Each macros plays a role in your body to provide you energy and keep you functioning optimally.
Over the next few weeks we will take a deeper look at each macro, how they benefit your body, and what foods consist of each macro!

Embrace slow growth. Steady success means you will be stronger because of it.
We all want to be an overnight success but that is just the tip of the iceberg. The compounding effort over time is what will make that success worthwhile and last forever.
Do not be discouraged with slow progress. Progress is progress! Chip away, little by little and make it happen!
