Somewhere along the way, it’s easy to forget that we started riding because we loved horses. 🤍 Not for the ribbons, the recognition, the perfect rounds, or the next big milestone. Just because being around horses makes life a little better. A horse you love. A place to ride. The privilege of doing something that makes you feel like yourself. The older I get, the more I think the dream was never about becoming the best. It was about building a life that leaves room for the things that make us feel alive. And if we’re lucky enough to have that? Maybe we’re already living the dream. A little reminder to stop chasing the next milestone long enough to enjoy where you are.
