We’d like to give a HUGE shout out to for winning his IL State Cup final against San Antonio Raiders. You had to be there to witness an exhilarating 2-1 win over their rivals!

Jay’s testimony is one of a kind.. About a year and a half ago, he tore his ACL and had questioned if he wanted to return to play. As a trainer, it’s difficult to comfort a student on returning to the field when we’re dealt with a serious injury, but Jay never lost sight of the vision!

Post-injury, he has created remarkable moments, such as scoring a game-winning goal against Waubonsie High School, being interviewed by the Naperville Sun, and scoring the game-winning penalty kick in Arizona to close out the tournament play. All glory to God! ✝️

Becoming the state champion for , so far, has been the cherry on top! Jay will now play for nationals over at Utah next month. I’m very proud of his commitment, vision, and resiliency to overcome such a huge hurdle. A superb job, Jay! Let’s prepare for nationals 💪🏽
