The amazing Larry Drummond return to 206 Masters Class Duty with RMS, this past Saturday at Norway. Driver No.85 had consistent Top 5 pace with a solid 3rd place in the Heat, followed by a 5th place in the future. We can’t wait to have Larry return for the season finale race on September 12th!

MILE STONE MET 🎇

RMS Team Driver Michael Smith captured his first ever, podium at the beautiful Briggs & Stratton Motorplex at Road America! Smith wheeled his RMS Margay 206 to a hard-fought podium in the 206 Masters/Heavy Category.

Honorable mention also included fastest lap in the 18 lap final! We’re proud of his progression and refusal to not give up. Thanks Michael and Jess, for choosing RMS.

👊🏼 IT’S A DUB!

🏁 Brian Thompson and RMS bring home a victory at the Mid Start Kart Club Ignite Challenge! This is Thompson’s third victory in his Ignite Challenge Rookie Campaign.

📈 The No.5 RMS Ignite struggled to find speed during the practice rounds. Both Thompson and RMS went to work to find speed before the qualifying trial, to grab P5 on the starting grid. When the green waved for 18 laps, the 5 went on a grind.

🥇 After some of the closest pack racing of the evening, Thompson managed to grab the checkers in first! He made a statement, that no matter how challenging the beginning is, it is never over till it’s over. For race 2 of the evening, Thompson would go on to claim 2nd place, earning himself a pair of podiums down in Springfield.

🔥 Thompson has built a close but promising lead in the championship, heading into Gateway KartPlex on October 17th. Let’s up this momentum rolling! Thank you Brian Jr and Sr for believing and choosing RMS.

▶️ From grass-root starting grounds to regional podiums ‼️

🔥 Team Driver Logan Matusik pulled an epic performance Saturday Night at the Ignite Challenge Mid State event, collecting a pair of podium finishes in the competitive heavy class.

📕 Every driver has a story on where they started. We at RMS are incredibly grateful the Matusik family took trust with our program to build towards a podium result. Take a look through the months on how we got to where we are today.
