It's Saturday and we have three events for you to support and enjoy on this beautiful day. Our girls volleyball team travels to Tunkhannock for their inaugural tournament. The Trojanettes first match is set to begin at 8:30 and action will continue through the afternoon. Our cross country teams begin their season with the Cliff Robbins Invitational held at Letterkenny Fields in Dallas. The boys race starts at 9:30 and the girls run at 10:15. Finally, our field hockey team travels to Honesdale for a 2:00 match with the Lady Hornets. Good luck to all of our teams today and enjoy the rest of your Labor Day weekend!

It's finally Friday and we've got two events to start off the Labor Day weekend. First up is our golf team hosting Crestwood at Wilkes-Barre Muni with the fist group teeing off at 3:30. Later, our football team travels to District 11 for a non-conference matchup with Palmerton. Kickoff is set for 7:00. Palmerton sells tickets online for $6 for adults and $4 for students. The week is moving along quickly and we're onto Thursday's GNA athletic events. Our golf team is back on the course today at they host Holy Redeemer at 3:30 at Wilkes-Barre Muni GC. Back at home, girls soccer has their opener as they host Pittston Area at 4:15 at the stadium. Good luck to both squads today!

Congratulations to our boys soccer team who defeated Lakeland in a tight game this evening, 2-1, for their second win of the week. Well done, men!

GNA Athletics would like to welcome all of our students back to school for the 2026-27 year. Let's make this a great one! We'll start off the school year with some athletic events for you to support. First up is our golf team who travel to Irem Temple CC for a 3:30 match with Valley West. Back at home, it's a double header at Chicknosky Stadium. At 4:15, our field hockey team hosts Wallenpaupack in a WVC game. Following that, boys soccer takes on Lakeland in a non-conference match at 6:15. Good luck to all of our teams today!

Congratulations to our boys soccer team who earned their first win of the season when they defeated Berwick 3-2 this evening on the road. Well done, men!

Due to the forecast of bad weather this afternoon, the golf match against Holy Redeemer has been postponed to Thursday, September 3.

As we welcome our teachers back for the new school year, we have several events for your Monday. We'll start with our golf team hosting Holy Redeemer at 3:30 at Wilkes-Barre Muni GC. We also have boys soccer on the road for a match at Berwick. Kickoff is set for 6:30 at Crispin Field. Finally, our field hockey team has their home opener as they host Dallas on the Chicknosky Field turf starting at 4:15. Good luck to all of our teams today!
On another note, the JV football game today has been canceled and the junior high soccer game at Bear Creek Charter has been postponed with a makeup date to be announced.

It's soccer Saturday as both our boys and girls teams kick off their seasons today. The boys team travels to Blue Ridge for a 10:00 game while the girls are at Valley West with a 1:15 start time. Good luck to both of them today and all year!
