Tonight we wrap up the 2025-26 athletic year with a celebration of our athletes and their accomplishments at our annual Athletic Awards Night. The ceremony begins at 6:00 PM in our auditorium. All varsity athletes are expected to attend as they will be recognized for the individual and team successes they earned during their seasons. Our athletic families and friends are welcome to attend as well. It's sure to be a special evening, and we hope to see you there.

Geisinger will be offering free fall sports physical exams this Saturday (May 30) at their Orthopedic Clinic from 8:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Here is a link for details: https://gnaathletics.com/main/adnews/id/55440400

In order to receive an exam. athletes must be registered online prior to the physical and take their "health history" questions and answers from the online registration with them in order to be examined. This is because the Geisinger doctors do not know the kids' history and are required to review it prior to approving them. They can take a hard copy or have it on their phone. Athletes must have approved physical exams if they are interested in playing sports at GNA. In addition to this opportunity, athletes may get their exams from their own doctors or an urgent care facility.

With the state track & field meet wrapping up over the weekend, athletic contests at GNA have concluded for the year. We do have one more event scheduled though, and that's a celebration of our athletes and their accomplishments at our annual Athletic Awards Night. That ceremony is set for Thursday, June 4 beginning at 6:00 PM in our auditorium. All varsity athletes are expected to attend and be recognized for the individual and team successes they earned during the 2025-26 athletic year. JV and junior high athletes are welcome to attend as well along with our athletic families and friends. It's sure to be a special evening, and we hope you can attend.

She battled through an unfortunate injury to pick up two medals. She followed up Friday's 7th place in the triple jump with a 6th place in today's long jump event. What a way to wrap up and amazing career at GNA. Well done!

Good luck to Trojanette senior track athlete Neveah Baran at the PIAA State Championship Meet this weekend at Shippensburg University's Seth Grove Stadium. She starts off today with the long jump, in which she's seeded third, at 12:30. Tomorrow, she'll compete in the triple jump as the top seed, also beginning at 12:30. Bring home the gold, Neveah!
