Congratulations to Cole Johns on signing yesterday to continue his track and field career at Highland Community College. Cole is one of a number of athletes who is marking the culmination of his dedicated four-year journey with Spike Up Athletics. His growth from 9th grade to graduation is highlighted by a 400m personal best of 53.27, which is a vast improvement over the 1:03 pb that he started with as a 9th grader.

Thank you for always showing up and not giving up on yourself or Spike Up Athletics, Cole. We wish you continued growth and success at Highland. And remember, once a Spikie, always a Spikie.

A huge round of applause for Jade Anderson from Columbia High School on his official signing today! Jade is headed to Oregon to run for Treasure Valley Community College. It’s been a joy watching your grit and speed earn you this spot at the next level, Jade.

Thank you Jade for your dedication and belief in Spike Up Athletics and for including our club founder in today’s celebration. Being there to see you put pen to paper was truly the highlight of his day!

College signings are not possible without a solid support system, so we have to recognize the coaches who have been in Jade’s corner: Coach Zechariah Taylor (Columbia HS). Thank you for your leadership and for pushing Jade to reach his potential as a Wildcat. Spike Up Coach Dave Armitage and our entire coaching staff: Thanks for your dedication to Jade and for helping him fine-tune his craft. Ontario, Oregon is getting not only a good athlete but an exceptional human being. Go Jade! Go Chukkars!

A massive congratulations to Nampa Christian Schools’ very own Ian Johnson on officially signing his track & field scholarship to attend Biola University! Watching your hard work and dedication pay off is incredible, Ian. Biola is getting a powerhouse!

A special thank you to the Johnson family for your thoughtful invitation to have our founder attend Ian’s signing yesterday. Also, huge shoutouts to the coaches who have been instrumental in Ian’s journey over the years:Coach Zach Dwello (Nampa Christian Schools) and our very own Coach Dave Armitage. Both coaches, amongst many others, poured a lot of themselves into Ian’s training, and we can’t wait to see what Ian accomplishes for Biola University track & field and in the PACWest these next few years! Go kill it Ian! We’ll be watching and cheering for you!

Jarrett Adams was a star runner on the Vallivue High School varsity track team. During his senior year, he was diagnosed with a potentially deadly heart condition.
