First off I want to mention how much I love the Salt Lake. NPC shows they are one of the best shows that I’ve ever competed in…
OK now for my story my wife Mary Fortik needed to qualify for nationals in New Jersey and so we came to Salt Lake for the Salt Lake City championships and at last minute, I decided to jump into the show (instead of doing a trainers pass)no peak, no tan just at last-minute jumping on stage and took second in the light heavyweight opened division !!!!!!! —NOT TO BAD—for a 51-year-old… Feeling good (three weeks out from New Jersey nationals)

Wow. It’s been a day. Thank you to my sweet friend for this beautiful portrait she had made of my Gunnar. It will be hung in our home.
He was such a special boy, not only to us, but to our gym family. He will be missed but NEVER forgotten. 💙

Thank you Charlie and Casey for making this poster of my sweet baby boy , Gunnar💙
Now he can watch over everyone at the gym from heaven 🪽 his memory will live on always.
I miss him so much, my heart hurts, but now everyday at work I can see his sweet face, along with our Capone. My 2 angel boys.
