Outer Banks Dive Center The Outer Banks Dive Center philosophy is simple: Get People Diving and Keep Divers Diving! The Outer Banks Dive Center is your personal dive center.

Our goal is to supply our customers with the best possible equipment and service available in the dive industry. If you have a suggestion, please make it, we'll listen. We specialize in meeting the needs of new divers through the advanced and technical divers. Training is offered at all levels from the beginning diver through Technical Instructor Trainer. We are an accredited NAUI Career Training

Center with Instructor Trainers and Course Directors on staff. Courses are available from the following agencies:
NAUI, PADI, IANTD, DAN, and NSS-CDS.

On September 14, 1944 during a massive hurricane, the CGC Jackson & Bedloe were sunk with the loss of 47 crew. Both vessels were escorting the Liberty ship George Ade which had been torpedoed by U518 and in tow by the Navy vessel ATR-6 off of Cape Hatteras NC. The same hurricane sent the Coast Guard Lightship Vineyard Shoals to the bottom with all hands.

Come dive on Saturday the 13th and Sunday September 14th 2014 with Bill McDermott and The Outer Banks Dive Center in Nags Head NC for a dive on both these sites for dives on these historic sites and a Memorial Service honoring those deceased and those that survived

Calm seas, cool light breeze. Fantastic Dive Day !!! Diving on the Historical Wreck of the USCGC-Jackson. Almost no current. Top- 78degs with 80'+ viz. Bottom- 66degs with 50'+ viz. you could see the Wreck from the hang bar. Amberjack, Taug, Sea Bass, Triggers. Beautiful Dive Day.!!! Congratulations on your cert dives Meridith !

Cool Sunny Day. N wind starting at 13kts in morning with very choppy waves reducing to 6kts by 11:00am and smoothing seas. Clear water top to bottom with bottom viz 60'+ and 69degrees. Two really good dives!!!
