Up next in the Off Season Chronicles is Jairus 🤙🏼 A heavy lifter on our cabana crew and also a pitcher for the Farmdog Fleabags summer softball team. We are wishing Jbae all the best in his next endeavor! Here's what he's been up to:

"I have been in school for respiratory therapy, so I will be studying a lot this off season. What I miss the most about the Outer Banks is getting to see all of my friends at Farmdog! I’d say the waves too, but they were not that good this summer."

Jairus we're proud of you entering into healthcare and know you'll do great. Keep up those straight As!

Kicking off our ✨️Off Season Chronicles✨️ series is Cole.

Cole is a powerhouse on our Farmdog cabana crew, and also runs Beach Bums Bonfires OBX. With summer beach days now behind us, here's what he's been up to and what he'll miss most about the Outer Banks while away:

"Since the Farmdog season ended I’ve been traveling the country with my dog. We’ve been living out of my truck camper, and exploring national parks along the way. I'll spend the off season living and working in the Colorado Rockies so I will be snowboarding all winter long. My travels have been amazing, such a great experience."

"What I'll miss most about summer is going to work on the beach everyday in shorts and a tank top and seeing the sunrise and sunset while working the best job ever. I will miss the beach vibe and community that the outer banks provides."

That's a wrap, folks 🏖 Heading out to pack up the last setup of the season! August through October brought more red flags than we've seen in a long time, but we hope everyone managed to squeeze in as many beach days as they could...and that our services made them that much better 💙
