Introducing one of our newest Alumni,
💜 Alexis Shankle 💜

On Friday Lexie graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a minor in Business. She is currently pursuing a career in the equine industry.

Lexie has been a member of the SFASU Stock Horse Team since 2022. During her time on the team she has been Treasurer (2023) and was President of the team 2024. She has competed in East Texas Stock Horse shows and AQHA shows, as well as Multiple Color Breed Congress and was world champion throughout her college career in APHA/PtHA.
We are going to miss her terribly, but we are all so proud of her and all that she has accomplished! Good luck Lexie!!! 🤍💜

💜 Alexandra Bailey 💜

Alex graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is currently pursuing a nursing job in her hometown.

Alex has been a member of the SFASU Stock Horse Team since 2021 and has served this semester as our social media and marketing officer. During her time on the team she has earned over 27 ribbons for the university. She has grown so much as a rider while on the team, and she does everything in her power to help others grow as well. We are going to miss her, but we are oh so proud of her!

💜 Madeline Mayfield 💜

On Saturday, Mattie graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies Elementary Education. She has accepted a job teaching Kindergarten in North Texas and is beyond excited!!

Mattie is a 2020 founding member of the SFASU stock horse team and served as team president from 2021-2022. During her time on the team she has earned over 16 ribbons for the university. She is a valuable member of our team and always brings a smile to everyone she meets. We are going to miss her, but we are oh so proud of her!!!
