While the journey with the CVA Falcons was a fun one filled with memories I will have forever in August I decided to join the Bluestorm organization and launch Bluestorm 434.
We are doing personal try outs for any player 5th grade thru 9th. Our fall/winter season has started with our first game to be played September 29th. If you are interested in playing basketball at a higher level than rec. League can offer message Lamont Hairston or send me a text 434-941-9928 and I'll schedule you an individual try out. Bluestorm 434 will also be holding skills and drills clinics in Lynchburg and Roanoke for girls and boys.

Up at 3 in the morning thinking about how successful this summer was....
11 tournaments
40+ games
8 championship games
8 second place finishes
Good showing at our first national event
There may be some better teams out there.... but we are headed the right way.
The CVA Falcons will no longer play in local running clock events.... we will only play in exposure events.

When I say these kids gave it all they had... I mean it..... FALCONS WEREN'T AN EASY OUT..... PUT SOME RESPECT ON THE NA...

Don't let tomorrow or any day this week ruin your fun... you guys wanted to see what is out there as far as competition and you will.... have fun enjoy this moment give a 100% on the court and when the game is over win or lose don't look for me to critique.... when the buzzer sounds I'm on my way to the beach or the pools to relax..... consider this tournament a reward for being a CVA Falcon

During this evaluation process we will be placing players on 1 of 2 teams....

CVA Falcons..... will be for developmental players. This team will do local tournaments

If you are selected for this team.

Team Virginia.... will be an elite team for players who really want to see how they compare against top level talent. If you are lucky enough to make this team we will be playing tournaments in

6th grade all games at Lynchburg college.

Footprint vs Falcons 8:50 a.m
Northside vs Falcons 10:30 a.m.
Falcons vs Rapid Fire 1:00 p.m
This is a round robin format so 1 o'clock game will be last for 6th grade.

7th grade Team
CVA Fire vs CVA Falcons 9:40 a.m
Va. Clippers vs CVA Falcons 1:50 p.m
Pool play starts at 5:10 p.m
All games played at jubilee center....
