The "Hash House Harriers" were founded in 1938 in what is now Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia by Albert Stephen (A.S.) Today, there are roughly two thousand hash "kennels" worldwide. Our mission:
To promote physical fitness among our members

To get rid of weekend hangovers

To acquire a good thirst and to satisfy it in beer

To persuade the older members that they are not as old as they feel

We do this b

y following marked trails set by a designated "hare." These trails can range in length and may or may not include shiggy. Shiggy level is measured on a scale of 1-5, 1 being all pavement; 5 involving chest deep mud, overhead water, thorny brush that is difficult to navigate, snakes, alligators, etc. All trails, regardless of shiggy level, have one thing in common: BEER! Cost for normal trails is $5. This helps pay for the beer and contributes to other purchases like food, event souvenirs, merchandise, and charity donations. A hash kennel is run by democracy, guided by "Mismanagement" or MM. Current MM for GStrH3 includes;
