The training sessions focus on touch and technique that every player needs to develop to get to the next level. In a typical training session the player will focus on the small technical skills that coaches do not have time to work on in a team setting. My 1 on 1 approach incorporates footwork, dribbling, turning, trapping, and passing. In this setting I am able to correct the players technique an
d demonstrate the proper technique and then have the player repeat it properly and continue to repeat properly. In a 1 on 1 session players will get between 500-1000 touches on the ball through focusing on turning and being able to keep the ball away from opponents, turning to create space for themselves, dribbling, bringing the ball down out of the air, and passing for accuracy. My moto is simple: If you don't have a good first touch, you won't have many second touches!
