SOTC AKC Scentwork Trials
October 2-4, 2026

Now open for entries! Our fall scentwork trials are being held at SOTC and the beautiful Terra Nova Equestrian Center. On Friday, we're offering two detective trials, plus two master interior and exterior trials. Saturday we're offering two interior and exterior trials (all levels) and Sunday we're offering two containers and buried trials (all levels). Our judges for this trial are Judy Leitzsch and Natalie Duberow. We had an amazing time at Terra Nova last fall and we're so excited to be back - hope you can join us!

What would fall in Florida be without the SOTC October Rally trials? We are holding three trials over two days: Friday afternoon, October 16th and two trials on Saturday, October 17th. Jeanette Rogers is our judge.

Here are some Frosty Faces Fun & Fitness Fotos … class activities include gentle stretching to warm up, low-impact agility, sniffing and sensory enrichment, building connection and confidence, and cool down with gentle massage … dogs pictured are from 10-14 years old … everyone is having fun!

SOTC’s July Agility Trial at Bratty Paws with judge Tracy Hanna was a huge success! The SOTC trial committee worked hard to keep things running smoothly. SOTC members had great runs, including Lacey Gillett, our junior handler, getting a QQ with Shep. Melinda and her new pup Wiki and Jackie with her new pup Cupcake went home with Q’s! Kit and Kristi got their first QQ! Bonnie and Ash got a standard Q in her new class. Christine and Freya added up Q’s all weekend.

But the best part is always the agility community. Everyone is so supportive of each other. The support of everyone’s success is evidenced by the cheers, filming of runs, great sportsmanship and words of encouragement shared by everyone at the trial.
