🥏 Pioneer Park Disc Golf Course Update 🥏

We’ve officially installed the practice baskets at Pioneer Park! These baskets are for putting practice only and are not part of the course layout yet.

Our team is hard at work, and we’re excited to share that 6 full holes are scheduled to be completed by July 12. The fairways and infrastructure are coming together, but the permanent course baskets have not been installed in the ground yet.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this project so far. We’re getting closer every week, and we can’t wait to give the community a first look at the course soon!

Stay tuned for more updates and progress photos. The future of disc golf at Pioneer Park is looking bright!

🔥🥏BUILD A LEGACY 🥏🔥

A few years from now, disc golfers will stand on the shores of Lake Michigan, throw drives through towering woods and rolling dunes, and talk about what an incredible destination Pioneer Park has become.

The question is...

Will you be able to say you helped build it?

📅 Sunday, July 12
🕛 12 PM – 5 PM
📍 Pioneer Park – Muskegon, Michigan

This isn't just another work day.

This is the next step in creating one of the most unique disc golf experiences anywhere in the Midwest.

🌊 Lake Michigan shoreline
🌲 Incredible wooded fairways
⛺ On-site camping
🥏 A vision that continues to grow bigger every year

Bring your family.
Bring your friends.
Bring your work gloves.
Bring your passion for disc golf!

Whether you can stay for an hour or the entire afternoon, every hand helps move this project forward.

A huge thank you to everyone who has already volunteered, donated, supported, and believed in this vision. Sweet Spot Disc Golf is proud to help lead the effort, but this course belongs to the entire disc golf community. The best courses aren't built by companies or organizations—they're built by people who care enough to show up.

Let's make July 12 one of the biggest volunteer turnouts our area has ever seen.

Together, we're not just building a course.

❄️ Winter work, real progress ❄️🥏

These photos show what we’ve been grinding through lately. 6 holes are officially cleared, and even with snow on the ground you can start to see the fairways and lines taking shape.

The goal is to have a partially playable group of holes ready by this fall, and we’ll keep pushing whenever weather allows.

We’ll also be announcing a few work days where we’ll need some extra hands, so if you want to help build something from the ground up, stay tuned.

Also still looking for 6 more hole sponsors, pm for details.
