Good morning MGO! We had a beautiful start to the weekend up on Hubbard Lake for our second MBN tournament of the year. Our anglers and boat captains had to battle some pretty tough wind in the afternoon, but all made it in safely. Thank you so much to Kevin and Heather and all of the volunteers for keeping everyone safe and making the loading process efficient. Congrats to our anglers on their successful day - it was a grind for sure. Our junior hammers Harper and Blank had another 1st place finish with 6.48 #. These two always have a smile and a story to tell. So fun to watch! Sands and Moss brought in 20.75 # and a third place finish! Blair and Keefe weighed in 11.66 for 17th place. Carr and Keefe rounded out the day for the team and a special thank you to Lacie for being our bump woman. She does an awesome job keeping the boys in line and getting splashed!

We are back on the water today for a second day and we have teams on Muskegon for WMB today as well. Best of luck and safe travels to all!

Calling all MGO Anglers!

The Fruitport Conservation Club is hosting a second Spring Cleanup Day for anglers who were unable to attend the first date, and we are asking for a strong turnout from our club members.

Please RSVP in Spond if you are able to volunteer:

Wear work clothes and bring any tools that may help with yardwork, painting, or general cleanup.

The FCC is an important part of what allows our club to operate and continue to provide opportunities for our anglers throughout the season. One of the best ways we can show our appreciation for everything that they do is by showing up and helping them get their property ready for another year.

If you are available, please consider coming out and lending a hand, the more anglers who participate, the bigger impact we can make together.

Our kickoff to the Shoreline Bass Tour season was last night and our young anglers did an amazing job representing our team and taking on the Grand River! THANK YOU to Tyler Moss and Melissa Wanink for taking on the Shoreline Bass Tour - Youth Division and for having such a great kick off to the season.

MBN Coldwater Day Two! Another soggy day on a tough fishery, but our anglers left it all on the water. Congrats to our three teams for their strong finish and gaining some very valuable points towards earning a spot to the BASS Nationals in 2027!

Lacie Carr is getting a tutorial on the Mega Live and graphs on the Skeeter by her big brother and boat captain Wyatt Carr for her first ShoreliShoreline Bass Tour - Youth Divisionment of the season tomorrow evening on the Grand River. Lacie and Darcy Keefe have teamed up for this and MBN to be MGO’s only all girl team!
Wyatt is an MGO graduate who is getting behind the helm of this boat to help teach the next group of anglers.
These girls have an agenda in this tournament series.
Let’s get it done ladies.
