STUDENT ATHLETES OF THE YEAR ANNOUNCED
MIA CLEMENCE
Mia is a four-year, three sport athlete who has been instrumental in the rise and continued success of the female athletic programs at Fremont High School. She has played a key role in securing three conference titles and six district championships.
Often, when people think of “great athletes” they focus on those who dominate a single sport, earning first team All-State honors. However, true greatness lies in the dedication and resilience of the multi-sport athlete - those who compete year-round, contribute to multiple programs and still perform at a high level. Mia embodies this ideal.
Mia is a standout in volleyball, basketball and soccer earning All-District, All-Region and All-State honors in all three sports.
Mia is not only an exceptional athlete but also a true role model for her peers. In the classroom she has a 3.8GPA and is an Academic All-State in all three sports. She will be attending Northern Michigan University to pursue a degree in early education.
