Mona Shores Sailing Team

Mona Shores Sailing Team The Mona Shores Sailing Team is one of four teams who are a part of a co-op for high school sailing. We are not funded through the school district.

This co-op includes Grand Haven High School Sailing Team, Spring Lake High School Sailing Team, and Hamilton High School Sailing Team. Our teams are built on a solid foundation of highly experienced coaches. Students learn leadership skills, sportsmanship and camaraderie. The sailing teams belong to the Midwest Interscholastic Sailing Association (MISSA), the governing body for high school sailing

. Our sailors compete against other school districts such as Holland, Grand Rapids, Traverse City, Culver Academies, and Detroit. Our school sailing teams are considered a "club" sport and do not benefit from the athletic boosters funding that many other high school sports do. Through the generous donations of our community members and businesses, The Shoreline Foundation for High School Sailing is able to provide the financial means and resources to these young sailors. Your donation will help these sailing opportunities continue for generations to come.
