It’s been almost 2 weeks since my race accident at Blackhawk vs. the deer.

I wanted to thank every single one of you who have reached out and checked up on me. The amount of fellow riders, friends, corner and safety crew workers, race directors, etc. that reached out is unbelievable. It means the world to be me and makes me love racing even more, whether I continue to race or not I love our racing community ❤️

I had my follow up this morning and everything seems to be healing as planned. I got all the staples removed out of my right leg where they pounded a rod inside my femur, still struggling to walk, but start PT next week. My broken arm and fractured wrist got a hard cast today and I’m scheduled to get the pins out of my wrist in 4 weeks. Total recovery time in order to get back to work approx. 4 months max. 1-2 years for everything to be 💯 according to surgeon.

I want to give a HUGE shout out to Thomas Austin for surprising me with a GoFund Me page which has overpassed the goal with the absolute most support from so many gracious friends, family, fellow racers,race community members, and even strangers. It means the world to myself and my family. I don’t know how I will ever be able to show every one how thankful I am.
