Another GREAT Muscatine Agility Club trial weekend is in the books! Loads of fun was had with so many impressive runs on courses supplied by our judge, Ronda Bermke. Ronda never disappoints, with challenging and fun courses and lots of laughs! Huge congratulations to teams that achieved some lofty goals - Diane Bader and Jordan earned their Agility Grand Champion title! This title requires years of dedication and teamwork, and could not have been bestowed to a more deserving team. Great work Team Jordan! Also earned this weekend - Team Izzy (Joe Livingston and Izzy) earned PACH 9! Team Viva (Kim Gibson and Viva) earned PACH 2! and Team Row'n (Patty Peterson-Keys and Row'n) earned MACH 2! So proud of what members of our agility community have accomplished, and so happy that they did so at our trials! Please share photos with us! (If I've somehow missed anyone, please chime in so we can recognize your accomplishments.)

As always, we want to convey our deepest appreciation to all who helped out with making this trial happen - we truly could not do what we do without the work of our volunteers. Personally, I want to thank Kim Gibson and Carolyn Venaglia for helping me keep the office running, especially with the occasional computer "glitches" that popped up. Ain't technology great! You guys provided so many laughs (sorry about the fly incident, Kim). Trials with you are made enjoyable by your positive attitudes and levity - you guys rock! Last, but certainly not least, thanks to the Quad City Dog Center for supplying our community with a such a wonderful venue for us to pursue what we all know is more than just a "hobby." Dog people are THE BEST!

We hope to see everyone again at the QCDC on February 20-22, 2026 with judge Michele Fletcher. Happy and Safe Holidays to ALL!

Quick reminder that the MACI November 7-9 agility trial closes this Friday, October 24, at 5 p.m. We have runs available all three days! Our judge is Ronda Bermke, so you know we'll have a great time! There's still time to get your entries in!
Side note - the MACI computer has had a slight meltdown and is going to see the doc today. Hopefully, all will be better later this afternoon. If you have recently sent in an entry and have not yet received a confirmation letter, don't worry, they'll be out ASAP. Leave all the freaking out to me, lol!

Don't forget that MACI will be having our biennial Glory Run on October 11, 2025 during the October 10-12 MACI Agility Trial at the QCDC!

Entries for the Glory Run MUST reach me by September 4, 2025, so I can order the customized ribbons. The entry form was attached to the regular entry for email that was sent to the database, and can be found on the QCDC website as well.
