Our mission is two-fold, first we would like to reconnect the alumni of Penn Hills Indians Football. Secondly, our desire is to raise funds for coaching and player equipment for the lonig term growth and success of Penn Hills Football. We are also looking to raise funds to help our student athletes on and off the field. We are looking to fund out 7 on 7 competitions, arrange combines at Penn Hills High School and also allow us to arrange trips to nearby college combines. We would also like to have the ability t provide transportation to be able to take our student-athletes on campus recruiting visits. Our efforts are to return Big Red Football to its glory years while also ensuring our student athletes are able to continue their educations so they may be become successful and supporting members of the Penn Hills Community. GO BIG RED!!

Dan Mason grew up a Penn Hills football fan before going on to be a star player there and eventually an assistant coach for seven seasons.

So when the Indians’ head coaching job opened in May, the former Pitt standout decided to put his name in the hat.

“I just felt it was time for me to step up and do it,” Mason said. “I didn’t really want anyone outside of the district coming in. I know what Penn Hills is all about. I’ve been here through every coaching tenure. I played here. I grew up here. It’s dear to my heart. So I wanted to make sure we kept it all in the family.”

Penn Hills felt similarly. And, just like that, an Indians’ great is now leading the program.
