“14 Purple had a very strong year! They combined strong serving and timely hitting, especially quick sets in the middle, to win pool play 8 times. They made the Gold bracket in 8 of 9 tournaments. They finished in the top 6 in every tournament, winning 2 tournaments, finishing 2nd 2 times, and 3rd 2 times.”

WEST E 16 PURPLE RECAP from Coach Meghan 💜🖤

“It was such a privilege to coach our 16 Purple team this year. This group built a culture centered on resilience, growth, and relentless energy. From day one, they showed they were willing to fight for every point and never back down. Match after match, they played with toughness, energy, and heart, always finding a way to push through challenges together.

What stands out most is the tremendous growth across the entire roster. They put in the work and stayed committed to the improvement of themselves and the team. Their eagerness to learn and constant drive to get better never went unnoticed. This led to some great moments, including two tournament championships. Those wins were a direct reflection of their effort and the standard they set for themselves every day in the gym.

More than anything, this was truly a special group of girls. In my career, I haven’t seen many teams as close as this one. The way they supported each other and built genuine friendships is something that will last far beyond this season. I’m incredibly proud of all 12 of these girls and everything they poured into this year. It’s a season I’ll always remember and hold near to my heart!”

“This season, our team 14 Black was so much more than just a group of players—it became a family. From the very first practice to our final match, I watched these girls grow not only as athletes, but as teammates and young women. They put in the work, showed up for each other, and gave their hearts every time they stepped on the court.

There were challenges along the way, tough losses, and moments that tested them—but they never gave up. Instead, they leaned on each other, lifted each other up, and kept pushing forward with determination and resilience. The way they supported one another, celebrated each other’s successes, and refused to quit is something I will never forget.

I couldn’t be more proud of the effort, growth, and heart this team showed all season long. They represented themselves, their families, and this program with so much pride. Coaching this group was truly special, and this season is one I’ll carry with me for a long time.“

Congratulations to our West E 15 Purple team on bringing home their 2nd tournament championship of the season going undefeated ALL DAY! 🏆🔥

This team continues to put in the work, show incredible teamwork, and compete at a high level every time they step on the court. We’re so proud of their dedication and energy!
