It’s almost time for one of our favorite events of the year—the 4th Annual Hockey Equipment Swap!
Join us on Sunday, August 23rd, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM on the Gardens Rink at the Robert Morris Island Sports Center.
We’re currently collecting gently used, good-condition hockey equipment to help make this event a success. Donations of the following items are greatly appreciated:
● Sticks
● Shin pads
● Elbow pads
● Chest protectors
● Hockey pants
● Gloves
● Skates
● Uniforms/Jerseys
● Shells
● Equipment bags
● Hockey socks
Please do not donate helmets.
Donation Drop-Off Options
Donating is easy!
● Drop equipment into one of the two collection bins located in the RMU lobby anytime before the event.
● Or bring your donations during one of our collection times:
● Thursday, August 20: 5:00–8:00 PM
● Friday, August 21: 5:00–8:00 PM
● Saturday, August 22: 12:00–8:00 PM
Every piece of equipment donated helps keep hockey affordable and gives more kids the opportunity to stay on the ice. Your generosity truly makes a difference for hockey families in our community.
One of our most asked questions is do you have to donate something to shop and the answer is no- everyone is welcome! We open the event to all players and families from any hockey organization. Likewise, donations are welcomed from any team or association—the more gear we collect, the more players we can help.
Whether you’re cleaning out the garage, replacing old equipment, or looking for gear for the upcoming season, we hope you’ll join us in making this year’s Equipment Swap our biggest one yet!
