K Pop Camp for dancers 5-7 yrs old, taught by our Miss Lori was so much fun!!

4 dress rehearsals with our traditional free Kona Ice treats for the dancers + 4 completely different recitals = 1 totally full and absolutely appreciative heart ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
So proud of every dancer that stepped onto the stage this weekend from our tiny 3 year olds to our talented seniors!
Every year I am humbled by the amount of support I get from my staff, our dancers, our parents and every audience attendee that shows up to cheer on these amazing students!

As we head into rehearsals and recital, we want to shine our Senior Spotlight on our final Senior, Sophia Pozek.

Sophia graduated from Franklin Regional High School and will be attending Duquesne University in the Fall to study nursing. Sophia would like to thank her family especially her parents for their love and support. She would also like the thank the entire DSD staff for making the studio her home away from home. Sophia would like to extend a very special thank you to Ms. Heather for her unwavering belief in her success and making her the dancer she is today.

Our next Senior Spotlight is on Natalia Aguilera:

Natalia is a graduate from Franklin Regional Senior High School, and she will be attending Grove City College to study Biology/Health. As she closes this chapter of her life, Natalia would like to thank her family for their constant support over the years; she wouldn’t be who she is without them. Despite this being Natalia’s first and last year of dance, she’d like to thank the teachers and girls at the studio who made her feel so welcome and pushed her to get better every week. Their kindness, support, and love never went unnoticed. Additionally, she’d like to thank one of her best friends Sadie, who encouraged her to try out at Donna’s after twirling together for many years on the Majorette squad for Franklin’s Marching Band. Natalia had no idea what she was getting herself into, but she trusted the process and is eternally grateful for what came out of it. Even though it was short-lived, Natalia will miss her time at Donna’s deeply. Yet, she now has memories to last a lifetime from this incredible studio.

Our next Senior Spotlight is on Alina Begg.

Alina graduated from Franklin Regional High School and will be attending Penn State University to study Material Science and Engineering. Alina would like to thank her family for their constant support throughout her time dancing. She would also like to thank all of her DSD teachers for pushing her and making her feel at home. Alina would like to give a special thank you to Miss Tay and Miss Heather for always being there for her and pushing her to be the best version of herself. Alina is so grateful for her time at Donna’s and is so blessed to have made such amazing friendships along the way that will last a lifetime. She will miss dancing but will always cherish the memories she made.

As we head into recital week, it’s time to celebrate our graduating seniors. These young ladies will truly be missed at the studio but we are excited for their future endeavors and experiences!!

Our first Senior Spotlight is on Belle Ralston:

Belle Ralston: Is happy to be attending TAPS East (Theatre Arts Preparatory School) located in Fairfield Connecticut to continue her study in performing arts. In tandem, she will be earning her Bachelor's degree in Communications at Southern New Hampshire University. First, she would like to thank her parents and her aunt for supporting her every step of the way through her dance journey, and continuing to their support as her passion becomes a career. She would like to thank Miss Ashley for being a great teacher and an even better role model throughout her time at Donna's.
She also would like to thank Miss Haley for creating a space where she felt free to explore and create, and always encouraging her to do so.
Finally, she would like to thank Miss Donna for creating a community that she was able to grow as a dancer and even more importantly as a person.
Belle feels lucky to have such a talented and supportive team that she was able to spend her final year dancing competitively with. She is grateful to have such a beautiful group of girls that push her to be better. Yes, there were some very long dance days, but she will always remember the memories she made with them and will miss them all the most.
