Brad came in with a reliance on ankle orthotics and a cane, high levels of pain, and loss of motivation to take responsibility for his health. He shows up with a positive attitude, works hard, and does what he needs to at home with nutrition, sleep, and self-care. His results are a direct reflection of focus, consistency, and a team of health and fitness professionals guiding him along the way.

Build athleticism into your training.

I will tell you...I need to add more movement and plyometrics into my training. I felt extremely heavy and flat footed here.

The benefits aid in keeping tendons healthy, improve reaction time, and so much more. Strength is absolutely a prerequisite, but if you can’t utilize that strength to produce efficient movement under fire what good is it⁉️

Tracking your heart rate during a training session can be extremely valuable.

This is not so important if you are training strength or concerned with volume as opposed to conditioning.

Here are some benefits for use during conditioning:
1️⃣ clarity of how tired you feel vs how hard your body is actually working
2️⃣ train in a specific zone or threshold to achieve a specific energy system adaptation
3️⃣ more accurately track calories so you can fuel appropriately for your goals

I do recommend a chest strap as opposed to a wrist watch. There are some expensive options out there to track HRV, recovery, sleep, etc. If you are starting from zero and on a budget simplify by just focusing on heart rate and use your resting heart rate as a method of tracking your recovery.

Really proud of for taking control of her life, placing her health first, and setting the best example for her beautiful daughter.

Since we met, she has made instrumental lifestyle changes. She is a NCO in the and works hard to improve her fitness tests. Here she is setting a rack pull PR. Prior to training properly, the go to would be to throw on a weight belt...not anymore. At least not right now. She built all the mechanical prerequisites of bracing and core strengthening.

This is just the beginning. We got the majority of the pieces in place. Nutrition. Hydration. Mental. Physical. Now is the time when it gets fun to put in the work. Looking forward to seeing the growth this year. We appreciate your dedication in uniform, to your daughter, and committing to the process.

Our age range is from 20s to 90s. Vietnam to today’s war on terrorism. No surgeries to multiple surgeries. Rehab-focused to SWAT, fire, and triathlon. Some that have been in pain for decades, some that need help after physical therapy, and some just need to move their bodies properly again.

Our goal is to improve their health in some capacity because we appreciate everything they did serving our country. This would not be possible without , the nonprofit that supports many facilities like ours across the country. Please check out and donate to one of the most effective veteran-focused programs out there.
