Hālau Mana O Te Hura is an accredited and authentic hālau, led by Kumu Hula Blaine Kia Kamalani from Hawai'i. Our founder is a native Tahitian who has deep connections with many Tahitian masters, which allows us to have certified instructors in Hura ('Ori Tahiti).

In our classes, we not only teach the dance but also incorporate the language and share the history behind each choreography, ensuring that every step holds meaning within our culture. The rhythms of our drumming awaken our "Tupuna" and "Kupuna," inviting their blessings and sharing the vibrant energy of our traditions.

👍✔Life is full of surprises! We are excited to announce that our Polynesian dance studio has officially become a " Hālau," which means "academy school" in Hawaiian. This sacred name is given and approved only by a true Kumu (teacher/master) Hula.

👌💕We are honored to be recognized by renowned Kumu Hula Blaine Kia Kamalani, along with our Kumu Kahealani Faatuarai. Our Hura master (formerly known as 'Ori Tahiti), Vaihere Doudoute, along with our certified in-house instructors—Mari Formoso (Hula), Joselle Angeles (Hula), Moeana Mou (Hura Po'o), Joie Thompson (Hura), Tricia Buenconsejo (Hula Po'o), and Lisa Dela Cruz (Hula)—are all part of this new chapter. Our new name is Hālau Mana O Te Hura, which translates to "The spirit of dance" (Formerly known as the power of dance)

We are excited to announce that we have moved to a new location! Hālau Mana O Te Hura, formerly known as Te Ori Mana, is now a Hula Hālau led by Kumu Hula Blaine Kia Kamalani, with guidance from our own Kumu, Kumu Kahealani Faatuarai. This transition has inspired us to restructure our Hālau as we embark on a new chapter to enhance our Hula and Hura (formerly known as ‘Ori Tahiti’) practices.

👌'Ia Ora Na (Hello)!
✔For over a decade, the Taste of Tahiti has showcased the cultures of Tahiti, Hawaii, and New Zealand in the Inland Empire, particularly in Temecula. We have presented our dances, entertainment, and festivals at various wineries, including Wilson Creek Winery and Mount Palomar. Additionally, for two consecutive years, we celebrated in Palm Springs with the City of Mirage. This year, we are excited to return for the third time to the beautiful Murrieta Hot Springs Resort. We will be going back to our roots by featuring a group directly from Tahiti, Ana'i Here, along with our local Polynesian dance company, Hālau Mana O Te Hura.
