June 14, 2026 at CN California Jiu-Jitsu League . 🥋🔥

Every photo tells a story—of courage, preparation, sacrifice, and heart.

Competition isn’t easy. It takes the willingness to step into the unknown, test yourself under pressure, and grow through both victory and adversity. That’s why we’re proud of every athlete who stepped onto the mats and represented our team this weekend.

Some brought home medals. Others gained experience. But every competitor walked away stronger.

Thank you to our coaches, teammates, and families for the endless support. Watching our students challenge themselves and rise to the occasion is what makes this journey so rewarding.

The medals are great, but the character built along the way lasts a lifetime.

A special thank you to Coach Z for capturing these moments and preserving memories that our team will cherish for years to come. 📸🙏

COMPNET Tournament Recap 🥋🏆

Today, 23 of our students stepped onto the competition mats and represented our team with courage, determination, and heart.

Our team had an incredible performance, bringing home 16 medals total:
🥇 9 Gold Medals (including Professor Mike)
🥈 6 Silver Medals
🥉 1 Bronze Medal

Beyond the individual performances, our team achieved some amazing results:
🏆 1st Place Overall Female Team
🏆 1st Place Overall Adults & Masters Team

But medals and trophies only tell part of the story.

Every single competitor showed true warrior spirit by stepping outside their comfort zone, testing themselves, and giving it their all. Competition isn’t just about winning—it’s about growth, resilience, and the courage to challenge yourself.

We are incredibly proud of all 23 competitors who stepped onto the mats today. Win or lose, each of you represented our academy with honor, humility, and heart.

Thank you to our coaches, teammates, and families for your unwavering support. The work continues—back to the mats and onward to the next challenge.

Huge turnout for our Parents & Kids class and the energy was 🔥

Nothing better than seeing families on the mats together—learning, laughing, and sharing moments they won’t forget. The room was full of smiles, great vibes, and a whole lot of fun.

Not a goodbye… just a “see you later.”

Last night we got to share one final training session with Duane and Gabi before their next chapter begins. Duane is finishing his time with the Marine Corps and heading out of state and it’s hard to see them go.

Duane, thank you for your service and for the energy you brought to the mats every single day. Your goofy, fun personality kept the room light, made people laugh, and reminded all of us to enjoy the grind. Gabi, thank you for the support, positivity, and all the great moments you’ve shared with this team.

You are both a huge part of our GB Murrieta family. The mats will not feel quite the same without you—but just know, you will always have a home here.

We will miss you. We are proud of you. And we will see you again soon. ❤️🥋

Wednesday nights at GB Murrieta No Gi bring the perfect mix of hard rounds, learning, and fun. The room is full, the energy is high, and even mid-roll you can’t help but enjoy it.

Proud is an understatement.

Huge congratulations to all of our competitors who represented Gracie Barra Murrieta today at CompNet! Your hard work, discipline, and dedication were on full display. Every early morning, every tough round, and every moment spent pushing yourselves on the mats led to today.

Competition takes courage. Stepping out there, testing yourself, and giving your best is what growth is all about—and this team did exactly that.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Thank you for representing our school, your teammates, and the values of jiu-jitsu with heart and determination.

A big thank you as well to the parents and teammates who came out to support. Your encouragement, energy, and belief in these athletes makes a huge difference and helps build the strong community we’re so proud of.
