If you think your results are everything… (you might not like what I have to say.)
But… you know deep in your bones that you’re cutting corners when you have a chance, or you’re committing to something that just ISN’T you… and this is to those of you eating tons of sweet potato, chicken, and oatmeal when you actually hate all of those foods…
You are going to get to a point where you resent everything that this lifestyle stands for ‼️
You have to shift your identity in order to show up differently… but how well do you know what you truly want? Have you actually sat and figured out the real reason why you THINK you want those things?
I was in the process of hiring another coach after my accident because I felt like I needed the push… to then find out I was looking for an external source to validate me.
How did I know that this was what I was doing?
Because when the question of “WHY are you doing this?” was asked, I realized I didn’t know how to answer. I tried to find it… but whatever came out just wasn’t resonating with me.
I was grasping at whatever felt familiar in how I used to “get myself back together”…. but I was no longer that person.
You know, the one who chases the validation from anyone or anything outside of myself and looks for applause from others before I even feel rooted in my next steps.
And the same way that I was a different person trying to use this old strategy that NO LONGER WORKED, is the same way you continue showing up exactly how you did years ago… still expecting a different result.
So… if you have goals to build your dream body, to build your confidence, to shift your mindset…
Take as much time as you need to understand WHY you’re doing this. Because that answer can make or break not just your future results, but your ability to walk a path that is actually meant for you 🫵🏻
