Life update ✨✨

But also… anchors that play a role in creating familiarity amidst all of this novelty.

Surprise! I moved to Arizona last month and similar to how I do a lot of things, I dove right in. That’s not to say there wasn’t fear, but it mostly hit me right as I was making the move.

A beautiful part of this journey has been recognizing how much support I’ve had all along, and also feeling proud of myself for following my heart and surrendering to this next chapter.

I’ll be sharing more and more of this process as I go… and finally getting back into the social media world 🌎✨

I would be lying to you if I said I was shocked at how amazing the experience at Slay the Spray 2026 was…

Because I knew just how much commitment, dedication, and care was put into this event by so many people and there was just no way it wouldn’t be amazing!

What was the most beautiful surprise, though, was seeing just how much infectious energy filled the room throughout entire event.

Mastermind sessions with members participating and pouring into one another; industry leaders and distributors cheering each other on, despite being “competitors”; female entrepreneurs so ready to support each other.

Putting yourself in these rooms doesn’t just fill your cup up because the energy is magnified. You walk out a better person because you see what is possible when you seek COMMUNITY.

The Slay the Spray conference is a MASTERCLASS in what it means when you focus on serving your community.

I am a better person, coach, supporter, and speaker because I said yes to being in the room.

To everyone who was involved behind the scenes, to the phenomenal speakers, to the amazing women I had the chance to meet… THANK YOU.

When you stop fighting the urge to either cut everything out, to then celebrate a birthday and eat anything and everything (to then feel horrible about it later)…

You unlock the door to the lifestyle you’ve been saying you want to live this entire time…

You know, the kind that lets you enjoy dinner with friends, enjoy your dessert without shame, and fuel your body and soul with confidence 😍

I hope you:

Don’t give up on the promises you’ve made to yourself. The confidence you build comes from keeping your word to YOU, not to anyone else, but to YOU…

It’s in the moments that no one else sees, the little voice in your head that gets louder and louder; if you’ve been showing up for yourself, it’s cheering… but if you haven’t, you already know what that voice sounds like ❌

You don’t have to do it ALL, but you do have to start somewhere, and if anything, start small… so you don’t have to break your word with yourself 💜

I’ve been coaching clients since 2017 and there is one question that is always asked and that I (most of the time) dislike answering:

How long is this going to take me?

There’s nothing wrong with the question in and of itself. It’s the underlying meaning that I don’t particularly like.

It’s the, how quickly can this happen? How difficult/easy is this going to be? And if we’re really being honest with ourselves, am I going to have to pretend like I enjoy this?

So how do we combat this type of thinking?

✅ we create a plan we have the ability to adhere to
✅ we follow a program that we actually enjoy
✅ we don’t put a timeline on change
✅ we commit to seeing ourselves succeed

Yes… you do in fact have to enjoy what you’re doing if you want to sustain it long term.

There are so many different thoughts on this and I know there are tons of people who say you have to continue doing the hard things if you want to see results… and I will not disagree with that.

But you have to learn to LOVE it. If that means you love the feeling of pushing past failure, and can sustain it for months on end, then so be it.

I see way too many women start and stop programs and I know it’s because they’re grasping at something that does not truly move them.

Fitness competitions did not move me. Showing up for myself and committing to a schedule and holding myself accountable to eating right day in day out, did move me.

The extreme side of that made me hate it.

So I pushed against it. I resented it. I didn’t want anything to do with it anymore.

I didn’t want to be at my niece’s 1st birthday and eat from a Tupperware and I didn’t want to be weighing food at a party. At a certain time in my past, I didn’t mind it.

The point is this: you will not be successful in what you do unless you FIND a way to fall in love with how it makes you feel or learn to fall in love with who you turn into in the process.

If you can’t do that… you may get results, but they will be short lived (and will feel like things are “off”) OR you will struggle to stay on track.

If you think your results are everything… (you might not like what I have to say.)

But… you know deep in your bones that you’re cutting corners when you have a chance, or you’re committing to something that just ISN’T you… and this is to those of you eating tons of sweet potato, chicken, and oatmeal when you actually hate all of those foods…

You are going to get to a point where you resent everything that this lifestyle stands for ‼️

You have to shift your identity in order to show up differently… but how well do you know what you truly want? Have you actually sat and figured out the real reason why you THINK you want those things?

I was in the process of hiring another coach after my accident because I felt like I needed the push… to then find out I was looking for an external source to validate me.

How did I know that this was what I was doing?

Because when the question of “WHY are you doing this?” was asked, I realized I didn’t know how to answer. I tried to find it… but whatever came out just wasn’t resonating with me.

I was grasping at whatever felt familiar in how I used to “get myself back together”…. but I was no longer that person.

You know, the one who chases the validation from anyone or anything outside of myself and looks for applause from others before I even feel rooted in my next steps.

And the same way that I was a different person trying to use this old strategy that NO LONGER WORKED, is the same way you continue showing up exactly how you did years ago… still expecting a different result.

So… if you have goals to build your dream body, to build your confidence, to shift your mindset…

Take as much time as you need to understand WHY you’re doing this. Because that answer can make or break not just your future results, but your ability to walk a path that is actually meant for you 🫵🏻
