Congratulations! 💙🦈💙

The Lady Sharks Golf team played in a two day, 36 hole tournament at Eagles Nest this weekend, and placed 9th out of 14 teams. Scores for the Sharks were Cassie Peters (150), Avery Banasiewicz (167), Kali Grant (199), Hannah Harper (198), and Sydnee Naylor (213). Cassie Peters finished 6th individually out of 74 golfers and made the all tournament team. The Sharks travel to Lexington, South Carolina TODAY to compete in the Palmetto Preview then are back in town Wednesday at Myrtlewood Golf Club for the Horry County Championship.

SHE DID THAT. 🔥🦈

Mackenzie Johnston came into this season with a goal — and by meet #2, she CRUSHED it!

The previous ladies’ school 5K record was 19:54 … and Mackenzie just dropped an incredible 19:04 to set the NEW SCHOOL RECORD!

From putting in the work all summer, to attending running camp in the mountains, to showing up and grinding every single day — this didn’t happen by accident. It happened because of hard work, heart, and hustle.

We are beyond proud of you, Mackenzie! The season is just getting started, and this is what happens when preparation meets determination.

The Lady Sharks Golf Team headed to Diamondback Golf Club in Loris on Saturday and Sunday to compete against 24 teams from SC in the Lady Blue Jacket Invitational. Lightning ended competition after 13 holes on Saturday, so the round was scrapped.

The sharks returned early Sunday and got to work. After a grueling day in the heat, the Sharks finished 3rd behind Conway (1st) and West Florence (2nd). Scores for the Sharks were Cassie Peters (75), Grace Pruitt (85), Avery Banasiewicz (87), and Annabelle Xhani (90). Cassie Peters made the all tournament team. The Sharks were by far the youngest team in the field and look to build and improve from the first tournament experience of the season.
