Concealed Comfort Steel Hunting Pits World - Class Waterfowl Blinds Concealed Comfort was started by hunters tired of hunting out of uncomfortable pits.

We have bought and hunted out of some of the “finest, heaviest, most comfortable” uncomfortable, light-weight pits imaginable; and to top it off--EXPENSIVE! So, we decided to build our own pits, which led to us building pits for others, which led to us offering the product to hunters everywhere. We offer a pit that is larger, heavier, more comfortable, and CHEAPER than our competitors. We start ou

t with a simple box, reinforce it with a gusset system that wraps the box creating structure for the side walls and fl**ge, a sump area for the floor, and a cantilevered roof to keep you dry. Simply stated, our pits are designed to not bow, cave-in, or float. On top of the basic design, we wanted comfortable hunting accommodations for all ages and sizes. Chris measures in @ 6-5, myself @ 5-11, and my son Aaron @ 5-4. We have accomplished what we set out to do, and are very proud of our product. When you compare our product to others, the value in Concealed Comfort pits will be evident.

With all the talk of potential habitat loss in the PPR - which simply CANNOT HAPPEN….it got us thinking about all the habitat GAINED through the efforts of private landowners up and down the flyways.

When we discuss with clients about their pits and how they’ll be utilized, we’re amazed how many mention their rest areas, pressure, and the habitat work they’re doing in the offseason.

So many of our clients have developed farm after farm and added hundreds and THOUSANDS of acres of water and food to the landscape in their area. In fact - it could be said that our customer base, per capita, is the most conservation-minded collection of consumers in the world. These folks put their money where their mouths are when it comes to protecting and INCREASING habitat.

Hunters are the best conservationists….and our clients are some of the elite.

Years ago, in a garage in Southern Illinois....an idea for a better duck pit was born. Quality - a good hide - and REAL comfort in a safe and secure unit was our goal.

Through the last 15+ years, we've kept to that same line of thinking, and added a little innovation and several updates along the way. The best addition we've made is that of so many valued clients that have truly become friends.

Our blinds have found their way to the furthest reaches of the flyways, and while it's impossible to know how many folks have hunted from our product....we're confident it's a BIG number.

Looking through some of these photos from the early days help to remind of us just how far we've come.....just how far YOU, our customers, have taken us.
