We can’t thank the KC Hall enough for their generous donation from their fried chicken dinner this past Sunday!
The support we receive from our community is truly something special! ❤️💛

The Murphysboro Knights of Columbus Council #988 is proud to present $620.00 to Murphysboro Junior Football through our monthly dinner Tip Program!

The generous tips collected from our dinner guests will help support Murphysboro’s young athletes and the Junior Football program.

We are grateful to everyone who came out, enjoyed a meal, and left a tip to help support this great local organization. Your generosity allows our Council to continue giving back to the children, families, and organizations that make our community so special.

A big THANK YOU to the coaches, parents, volunteers, and players of Murphysboro Junior Football for all you do for our youth!

🚨Game Time changes for Saturday 🚨

With the extreme heat we are moving our game times up 1 hour for each team.

3/4 grade game start 8am

5/6 grade game start at 9am

7/8th grade game start at 10:30am

If you were on the schedule to work concessions or ticket sales we will need you there an hour earlier than what you originally signed up for if you can’t please let Jessi Popejoy know so we can make changes thank you

It was a big day for all three of our Murphy Jr. Football teams as no team gave up any points!

3/4 Grade 12-0 against Benton
5/6 Grade 12-0 against Massac
7/8 Grade 30-0 against Massac

Congratulations to our players and coaches on a great day! 🏈

Tomorrow we were scheduled for our first games of the season but due to the extreme heat, there will be no Murphy Jr. Football games tomorrow, August 15th, for any of our teams.
