The Predators got their first region win tonight on the road. An assist from Gavin McMahon to Cannon Joyner started the Predators off. Then a quick give and go from Cannon Joyner to Ian Rodriguez got the second goal on the board. Before the first half was over, Cannon Joyner sent a cross in for Gavin McMahon to finish and put the Predators up 3-0.

The second half started with more shots from the Predators, then Ian Rodriguez was able to send a through ball for Cannon Joyner to finish. The Predators had a mix up in their own box that the Rebels were able to captialize on and get a goal on the board. Soon after the Rebels scored, another assist came from Gavin McMahon to get Cannon Joyner another goal. Towards the end of the game Gavin McMahon crossed a beautiful ball for Juan Rodriguez to finish with his head. The boys had some nice possession and movement on the field tonight!

The end score was Fox Creek Predators 6 Strom Thurmond Rebels 1, next game at home with Girl Varsity at 5:30 PM and Boys at 7PM.

Fox Creek Varsity Boys played today to determine if they would be 3rd or 4th in Region 5 AAA.

Fox Creek had to go against Swansea for a third time to determine this, they had played the Tigers before and split the games.

Today felt different from the last match ups with Swansea. In the first 5 minutes the Predators got a corner kick and Hayden Horton sent the ball to Logan Castor finish. A few minutes later the ball again was in the Tigers box and Thomas Kerekanich got another goal on the board for the Predators. Tigers did not let it stay that way and from a corner got one on the board making it 2-1. Unfortunately a few minutes later a questionable foul in the Predators box lead to a Tiger PK making it 2-2. Though before the half was over a ball from Hayden Horton to Cannon Joyner put the Predators ahead 3-2 going into halftime.

The Tiger lost their momentum in the second half and the Predators got one more goal that Hayden Horton sent to Clayton Cooper head that he was able to get right over the Tigers goalie. The game ended Predators 4 Tigers 2. This game clinched the 3rd place seed for their region.

The Predators will be on the road for their first playoff game on Monday against Georgetown at 6pm.

The Predators started slow tonight against the Bruins and did not get on the board till the second half. A foul in the Bruins box cause a PK and Joshua Barksdale got the Predators on the board. A few moments later Joshua Barksdale crossed it for Cannon Joyner to finish. Ending the game at Predators 2 Bruins 0!

The Predators have clinched their playoffs spot, but with what seed it is still to be determined.

The Varsity Boys got on to the board quick last night with a corner from Hayden Horton to be finished with a header by Sean Monaco. The next goals just rolled out with Joshua Barksdale to Hayden Horton, then Hayden Horton to Joshua Barksdale to again have Joshua Barksdale to Hayden Horton. The first half was finished with a cross from Brayden Widener to Sean Monaco.

During halftime the Varsity Boys celebrated their senior night and honored Eric Abdullah Jr, Trey Armstrong, Joshua Barksdale, Bryson Carpenter, Banks Glass, and Brayden Widener.

The second half was started with a pass from Joshua Barksdale to Hayden Horton that completed his hat trick. Then Hayden Horton had a shot attempt that was followed by Clayton Cooper. Trey Armstrong finished a PK from a foul in the Rebels box. The score ended Predators 8 Rebels 0.

The Varsity Boys will be on the road the rest of the week with Orangeburg-Wilkinson on Wedneday at 7pm and Batesburg-Leesville at Strom Thurmond at 7 PM.

Boys Varsity Soccer wins in Sudden Death PKs

Fox Creek Predator hosted Swansea Tigers for their second game match up and after losing in PKs in the last match up they did not want a repeat. Preds got on the board first in the first half with a through ball from Joshua Barksdale to Hayden Horton for a breakaway and shot into the goal. However, before the half was over the Tigers tied it up making it 1-1. The second half the Preds were hitting the cross bar, goal posts and the Tigers goalie in every shot attempt and were unable to get one in. Which lead to overtime but with no luck the score remained the same and the Predators and Tigers went into PKs.

The Tigers shot first with the Predators second. Banks Glass started in the goal against the Tigers. Both sides made there their first five PKs with the following Predators making their shots: Joshua Barksdale, Sean Monaco, Hayden Horton, Gavin McMahon and Mark Monaco. This led to Sudden Death PKs which meant if one side scored over the other the game was over.

The 6th and 7th PKs held even with Tigers making theirs and Connor Macafee and Clayton Cooper making theirs. On the 8th attempt by the Tigers, Banks Glass blocked their goal. Unluckily the Predators took their shot, and it went wide. Banks Glass came up again with another big save and the Tigers were denied their 9th PK. Eric Abdullah walked up and made the Predators game winning PK, making the final result in PKs 8-7 for the Predators!

The Varsity Boys will be home again on Thursday April 21 at 7pm against Gilbert, come out to support the boys.

The varsity boys played their region rivals on the road tonight. The Predators got on the board with a foul in the box that lead to a PK by Gavin McMahon. The Rebels then tied it up with a miscommunication by the Predators. A through ball from Hayden Horton to Cannon Joyner put the Predators ahead. Before the first half was over a shot attempt by Joshua Barksdale was finished up by Hayden Horton to put the Predators 3-1 going into halftime.

The second half was heated with multiple yellow cards being given but the Predators kept their heads and received none of them. After the referees needed to pause the game to settle both sides fans down the game was resume. Which shortly after brought a through ball from Hayden Horton to be finished by Joshua Barksdale. Minutes later Joshua Barksdale had a break away that had him beating multiple Rebel players to then curve the ball behind their keeper into the goal. With the final minutes a chip from Gavin McMahon to Joshua Barksdale gave him the goal to get his hat trick. At the end of the game the scoreboard showed Predators ahead 6-1.

Two homes games next week Tuesday at 6pm vs Swansea and Thursday at 7pm vs Gilbert. We hope to see you out their to support the varsity boys!

The varsity boys got their first region win last night. The boys put 18 shots on goal. A beautiful combination play from Hayden Horton to Joshua Barksdale got the first goal. Then a late foul in the box lead to a PK that Eric Abdullah finished in. The Bruins got on the score board in the second half. However in the last minutes a through ball from Clayton Cooper to Cannon Joyner lead to a break away goal and the game was sealed up.



Next game for Fox Creek is on April 14 at Strom Thurmond at 6pm!

Fox Creek Boys Varsity though have had a trying season so far came on the field today and took control of the game. Mark Monaco took a pass deflection from the other team to take his chance and score the first goal. Eric Abdullah got the next goal from Hayden Horton. The third and final goal was finished by Joshua Barksdale that was from a beautiful cross again by Hayden Horton.

Next game on Friday at Swansea at 6 pm!
