Talent is fun but all talent and no smarts is tough to watch. It's like the Titanic. A thing of power, a thing of beauty, a physical specimen but a weakness lies within and the weakness is so large that when exploited, everything crumbles.

Some think that you can just wait until you become a professional to start learning the mental side. Truth is, the longer you wait to give attention to this part of YOUR game, the smaller your chances become everyday at reaching YOUR full potential.

Stop neglecting the most important piece and train to be trusted. Train to be the mentally toughest. Train to be the one that can be relied on to always know their job, take care of their own preparation and the one who can be trusted when under pressure.
